No words! Ambernath station #Mumbai

Sir the system is a failed system still thinking it’s 1960!! And hence the reforms are 3 world country level !! People are living this nightmare in 2026 !! When will the system wake up !! How many people have to die before the system changes !!!

At present, at Ambernath Station, 3 Foot Over Bridges (FOBs)—one at the CSMT end, one at the middle of the station, and one at the Karjat end are available. One lift is available on Platform No. 1A, and one up/down escalator is available on Platform No. 2 for passenger use. Redevelopment work under MRVC is currently in progress on Platforms No. 1 and 3 for the provision and improvement of various passenger amenities. 2 additional escalators are expected to be commissioned soon, which will further improve passenger convenience and accessibility at the station.

An escalator is not a lift when you're on a walker. Central Railway's own update listed Ambernath's lift as 'in progress' back in September 2023.

Please also provide reasons, is it due to non availability of lifts or just plain lack of civics sense.

Railways need to increase ticket prices and provide better facilities. Ticket prices are just way to cheap. You can travel CSTM TO kalyan in the same price as 1 cup tea!!
