India are just ripping at the moment but a bit like China can they sustain this long term? The U.S. seems to have some durability to it thanks to innovation and a market that is more free running that the likes of China.

Very informative and well done. I think (1) miss is the fact that there is a significant on and nearshoring effort by Western businesses to move their manufacturing out of China. In addition to the challenges related to population decline and internal political issues, I do not believe we will see China's economy surpass the US anytime soon. India is making progress but has a long way to go.

when speaking of populations, its not just quantity that matters, but quality. China's younger population is declining, but also highly educated.

China is on the verge of collapse! Does that sound like the world economic leader?
