The patient, Nolan, could be seen scrolling around on his computer by using his brain. "I love playing chess so this is one of the things that y'all have enabled me to do." Nolan was previously in a diving accident and became paralyzed. This is awesome! He looks so happy.

He described receiving the N1 implanted in his frontal cortex with 64 threads, each containing 16 electrodes. He explained how his motor cortex continues to produce usable signals and Neuralink translates these signals into digital commands, enabling him to control computers with his thoughts and operate independently despite his paralysis.
