This is my city. Kids a known trouble maker with local police. They constantly take him to his parents but his parents don’t do anything. The video was edited by the guy filming to make it looking damning to the police. There’s body cam footage that shows the cops handled the situation correctly. I’m no bootlicker btw. FTP!!

@PicturesFoIder If the kid did something wrong, he should be arrested, plain and simple. Even if you steal a bag of chips, you should go to jail.

My son was stealing little toys from his preschool. He was 4. We had 3 conversations about it and he got into trouble at home. The 4th time I took him straight to the police station and told him he was going to have to talk to the police officers and he might have to go to jail. The lady behind the counter said she wished there were more parents like me. He said he has never forgotten that day and has never stolen since. Sometimes a little fear helps.

@PicturesFoIder This is why there is distrust between the community and the police. They could have talked to him and his parent. You cannot arrest your way out of a crime issue. These officers lack training.
