My theory on "non-binary" identities: Some women have extremely low self-esteem, which leads to them being uncomfortable with the idea of femininity. And after all, if women are supposed to be feminine beautiful, but they're not feminine & don't *feel* beautiful, they must not be women. So they reject womanhood in favor of a more neutral label. "Non-binary." Now they don't have to deal with the associations or expectations of being a woman OR a man. As someone who has struggled with self-esteem and body image, I understand the thought process and inclinations. However, being a woman or man isn't something you feel or perform. It's just what you are. Putting on a suit doesn't make you a different gender. I feel for people like Bella Ramsey, but the truth is young women not being comfortable in their own skin is nothing new or revolutionary.

Actress Olivia Colman has spoken candidly about her enduring relationship with the queer community, and how she came to learn more about trans people. Speaking to Them alongside Hyde, Colman, 52, reflected on how she stepped into the role of Hannah who, while not queer herself, is on the periphery of queerness due to her relationship with her father and child. “I think it’s a community that I love being welcomed into. I find the most loving and the most beautiful stories are from that community. And I feel really honoured to be welcomed. Throughout my whole life, I’ve had arguments with people where I’ve always felt sort of non-binary,” she explained. “I’ve never felt massively feminine in my being female. I’ve always described myself to my husband as a gay man. And he goes, ‘Yeah, I get that’ And so I do feel at home and at ease. I feel like I have a foot in various camps. I know many people who do. I don’t really spend an awful lot of time with people who are very staunchly heterosexual.”

Congrats to JLo’s child Emme on high school graduation in Los Angeles Thursday. Marc Anthony was not in attendance for his child’s big day. Jennifer Lopez was there smiling and supporting with grandma Guadalupe Rodríguez, Emme’s twin brother Max, and Ben Affleck’s son Samuel. Emme, 18, looked sharp in a tan suit for the milestone. I used to ask my New York friends Who were living in nyc check to check With a 80- 100k a year salary Why not move down south Where you can make that 100k Really feel like 100k And you can have a home a yard And more luxuries And they loved nyc so much that even though it made logical sense to move They would rather struggle And say “I live in NYC” Than ball and say I live in “Charlotte, Savannah, Charleston” Which would give them a better quality of life It took me a while to realize that The big city is so much a part of their identity Even if its pricing them out and has them living next to mice It’s so much apart of them that if they can’t say “I live in nyc” to someone who doesn’t They would lose part of their whole identity I say all that to say Chicago people are the same way

That line we've kind of been talking about where it became excessive. So number one was the non-call on De’Andre's layup, which I don't know. That’s a big deal because it directly counters the conservative political push to bar trans creatives and talent from working in family entertainment. • And it might be a long shot, but for a year Hunter Schafer has been rumored to be the frontrunner for playing Mystique in the upcoming #Xmen movies and by a miracle might get it, even though she’s clearly the perfect actress for the role. I need your help. Please don't judge me. ❤️ My mom had a bypass heart surgery 6 days ago. The surgery was successful, but recovery definitely needs attention. And in all this... I made one impulsive decision. I adopted two kittens. 🐱 I absolutely love cats. in 1 days, they are litter trained... And I got multiple things for them. But just after one day... I felt completely overwhelmed. Not because I don't love them. But because I realized something about myself. I'm a person who needs a lot of space. I love sitting alone. I love thinking. I even love doing... nothing. Yesterday, I didn't get that space even for a few minutes. And I realized how important that is for me. Then my brain started asking questions I wasn't ready for... If I can't be a cat mom... Should I ever think of getting married? Should I ever think of becoming a mother? Am I someone who is running away from responsibility? Or am I simply someone who needs a lot of personal space? A few of my friends also pointed out that my mom is more prone to infections during her recovery, and maybe this isn't the right time to have kittens at home. Now I'm genuinely confused. Should I keep them? Or should I find them a loving home while it's only been two days? Please help me think. Because right now... $I've got a situation and I'm asking for help from experts in firearms and ballistics. Two shots were fired - nearly a minute apart - while I was working on my car. Each shot had two distinct audible components - a crack and a bang with only a tiny fraction of time between them. My impression in the moment is that it was literally right behind me, and the crack startled me. In the moment I thought I may have heard an impact somewhere beside me. Junior, Ada Gallagher (former known as Aayden Gallagher- who won the state GIRLS 200 and took 2nd in the 400) will run for 2 female relay teams (likely propelling them to 1st place) and will race in the GIRLS 200 and 400… where HE is likely to place 1st. I turned around and took Hordii. I put him [in the driver's seat] and covered him [with myself]. I got a bullet (points to his right forearm - ed.). They were shooting for a long time. And then there was silence. I opened the door and there were Buryats with machine guns... I realized that they were Russians. I said immediately: "There are children here, don't shoot, please, there are children here." And they: "The child first". Hordii went out, but I couldn't go out... I got out and saw Maksym's legs. I wanted to approach him, but [the Russian] did not let me pass. He said: "That's it! That's it!" I started saying, "Ksenia is here! Mom is behind!" He looked: "Cover the child's eyes". I covered Hordii's eyes, I had a shawl. And he took us in that direction (to the area behind the gas station - ed.). There was a pit there. I asked him [the Russian who brought us]: "Are you serious now? Don't do that." And he said: "I'm sorry. My child is also six years old. I'm sorry." I thought they were going to shoot us. But a Russian officer appeared behind the pit and shouted: "Who opened fire? Who shot? Who brought her here?" I started to tell him: "We were on our way, we evacuated, they are shooting... we have children...", "You had no identification marks". I said: "We had white ones... and [the inscription] 'children' both in front and behind". Someone behind me said: "What are you going to do with them?" He looked me in the eye for so long, and then said: "Let them go." They took us out through the gas station and we left with Hordii.
