Non-citizen voting is already illegal. Non-citizens cannot vote, and if they try, they will be deported. They know that.

You’re about to hear all kinds of things about a bill called the SAVE Act. Congressional Republicans are using it as a cover to take away voting rights from thousands of Americans—all while claiming it’s about stopping non-citizens from voting. 5 things to know 🧵👇🏻

It makes voter registration harder for millions of Americans. It would require additional paperwork that a lot of people don’t have on hand.

If you’ve changed your name, like when you get married, you could be blocked from voting altogether.

It would require active-duty service members deployed abroad to return home just so they can register to vote.

Finally, it’s unconstitutional. It’s illegal. States like Kansas and Arizona have tried to pass similar bills. They’ve failed.

The SAVE Act isn’t about election security – it’s about making it harder for Americans to vote.

You are a disgusting rat liar, we literally saw you freaks campaign on giving illegals votes! We have the receipts!

I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but elections are actually announced WAY ahead of time. In fact, with few exceptions, they're held on the exact same day each year. It's crazy stuff. So, if you want to vote in the 2026 midterms for example, you have 21 months to figure this out. Maybe, in light of that, these requirements aren't quite too burdensome to verify that our elections are secure.

Low-income Americans who voted for Trump say they are counting on him to keep their benefits intact even while his Cabinet picks and Republican lawmakers call on him to reduce federal spending.

But if they know the state itself practices zero enforcement then they can vote, and certain activist groups go out to actually help them vote. If that sort of stuff was actually being addressed in Democrat-run states reliably, there likely would be no SAVE act.

It being illegal doesn’t seem to stop Democrats from implementing ways for them to do so. Who do you think you’re kidding?

False.
