Normalize not ego lifting and instead focusing on pushing yourself safely and within reason.

Super important lesson here, and worth repeating often. You shouldn't be seeking a PR every gym session. Many days are spent just maintaining and MAYBE pushing your limits a smidge. Muscle fatigue is a very real thing and you'll do more damage if you're constantly pushing limits.

At Mt. Athos Performance, we believe in more than just fitness. We believe in a lifestyle—a lifestyle that prepares you for every moment of life, from work to recreation. Through consistency & discipline, we believe in building the body & soul. Welcome to Mt. Athos Performance.

This sounds like a "guess what I just saw"

Preach! 🙏

There’s a guy who leg presses heavier than me and has bigger calves than me at my gym. He’s my goal. I actually started adding adductor/abductor sets I. Because my groin muscle feels weird during my leg press when I get deep. Trying to be smarter to lift harder

I often rethink my workout, I start with a load, very hardly do it with not so good form, lower the weight a little bit, and work out with the perfect weight and forme until failure this Time. 10/10 would recommend

Some of the best progress I have ever had was when I swallowed my pride and started lifting lighter .

Wisdom!

Don't forget to stretch, and getting up and down from the floor

Oh preach that shit gurl!!!!!!
