What's it like Growing Up in North Korea 🇰🇵 Lee Young-guk, a former bodyguard of Kim Jong-il (Kim Jong-un’s father) I could listen to interviews with North Koreans all day. So interesting 🤨 I read that when North Korean defectors speak publicly about how the country is governed or criticize the North Korean government, their relatives who remain in North Korea can potentially be put at risk. It made me wonder about this man’s family. Does he have family members who are still in North Korea, and if so, do we know whether they have faced any consequences because of his public interviews and criticism of the regime? via Drew Binsky
