Es un avión robusto todo terreno! Conocí un DC-3 de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina que remolcaba una manga para tiro Antiaéreo y recibió un impacto de munición de ejercicio de 35mm entre uno de sus motores y la cabina. Pero el avión se mantuvo en vuelo noblemente hasta el aterrizaje.
