Dear Nigerian Pastors, Bishops, Apostles, Deacons, e.t.c Before you go and tell the people this Sunday that the Church is under attack, please look inwards for once. The Church is not under attack, but it is being exposed for decades of lies and deceit carried out by the Fathers of Faith. Many of our Parents and grandparents died believing lies like watching TV was a sin, and if you did not pay your Tithe, you would not make Heaven, just to mention a few. This is why there is a rise in Atheism today, because many of our so-called men of God did not lead the people to Christ, they led them to their Pockets.

This is the correct response to what’s happening to Erika Kirk and what’s happening on the pro-Hamas Eurasianist slop “right.” And if more people have the courage to say this, I’m talking about people who are doing podcasts and who have lots and lots of viewers, we would be in a different place, but because you have a lot of people who are morally bankrupt they remain silent and pretend like that is the high ground. It’s not because your soul is not worth it a check. And if you are silent in the face of evil, that is the same thing as evil itself and God will not hold you blameless. I may not know a lot, but I definitely know that.

Like it or not, church has failed and it is failing more and more everyday. This is not the church we read about in scripture, but many of us have become so blind and foolish to see it. If you say it, mumu people will gather and think you’re attacking the church. No organization can fix Nigeria if the church doesn’t stand up and do it. Mumu people will ask, is church government ? You lack proper understanding of the power the church has or use to have.

Bishop Mar Mar said it plainly and he was right. This is exactly where I stand. Protestants, Orthodox, Catholics, the Church of the East, all of us belong to the same family of God. We are all children of God. The constant dividing and labeling has gone far enough. It needs to stop. Trinitarian Christians are not enemies. We are one people who confess the same God. Heaven is not divided by denominations. There are no labels there. This message cut through the noise and spoke the truth. It grounded me and affirmed what I have already known in my conscience. This was a powerful and needed message.

I am bringing this video back as a reminder: We are not Catholics because of the Pope or any priest. We are Catholics because of JESUS CHRIST. Christ is the foundation of our faith. Not personalities. Not emotions. Not convenience. So no, A bad priest is not an excuse. A weak Bishop is not an excuse. A corrupt Pope is not an excuse. A “boring” homily is not an excuse. None of these are reasons to walk away from the Church Christ Himself established. If you are Catholic, be Catholic for the right reason, and that reason is, JESUS CHRIST.
