I think you hit the nail on the head…. Just because you don’t meet the criteria of academia on their definition, they have decided to discredit anything that you discover by saying “well you’re not a geologist”. The same thing that they do today with “well you’re not a doctor”.

What is the nature of an existence that is experienced entirely outside of time itself? Can a single decision that is made in a state of timelessness simultaneously affect EVERY point in time and space? Groundbreaking reconciliation of creationism with natural science.

Since Average IQ Range Syndrome took over the world. Ignore the sheep. Many/most of them have PhDs... Doesn't change the fact that they still look, act and sound like sheep.

There are differences when it comes to geological areas of study. General scientists have a difficult time commenting on topics like geochemistry, geophysics, mineralogy, or micropaleontology, but when it comes to geological interpretations, generalists may be superior analysts.

No geologists nowadays really subscribe to the dualistic uniformitarian vs catastrophism way of thinking. Rather, they widely accept that geological processes are influenced by both kinds of forces. What’s dogmatic is framing most geologists as still being uniformitarians.
