EVERY apes movie in this new iteration deserved the VFX Oscar. Every time it got screwed. The fact that it’s never won once is laughable. This was ELEVEN YEARS AGO!!! And it lost to Interstellar!? Please.

I don't see how a photorealistic ape manipulating a photorealistic CGI book is more impressive than anything in Dune 2. If it were a real book they managed to manipulate and then CGI'd the ape in, that would be far more impressive.
