Not able to book tatkal ticket. I face the same issue everytime. How would we travel with newly launched speed trains with a slow ticket booking platform? :( IRCTC

Beijing is 120 km from Tianjin. High-speed trains take only 30 minutes to complete the trip. Ticket: 54.5 RMB. During peak hours every day, trains depart every five minutes, turning the high-speed rail into a subway. This is China’s first high-speed rail line opened in 2008. When I was a kid, there were no high-speed trains in China, and I frequently traveled on such express trains from Tianjin to Beijing. It took around 1.5 hours for the trip.
