An AI-powered gripper has the “sense of touch”, which can handle 75% of Amazon’s 1 million unique items. The previous picking robots used machine vision and suction cups but couldn’t “feel” the items (they were built to handle packages and covered <60% of warehouse items). In warehouses and grocery fulfillment, that’s the bottleneck: items aren’t uniform, and rigid grippers break or drop them. Nexera-Robotics built NeuraGrasp to address this. The system combines a compliant surface that mimics human fingertips with an AI controller that adjusts grip in real time. It doesn’t need reprogramming for each SKU and can handle fragile, irregular items as well as standard packages. This matters because if grasping is solved, robots stop being limited to narrow workflows. They can finally automate the “last meter” of logistics and retail, where most of the labor costs remain today. It's oddly satisfying to see a gripper that can pick up (almost) anything! 🫶🏼

Penny items at a store are items often damaged or discontinued. It signals to the employees that the items need to be removed from the shelves and liquidated or returned to the vendor, however there are people that actively search for these items and buy them up, sometimes it’s ok but often the employees get defensive. If you ring up an item and it comes up at a penny and you buy it, shouldn’t they honor it?

After a whole day of work made the inventory system with the ability to pickup and drop items. It was very boring and tiresome, but it was needed. With it I made a screen message system. You can also now interact with the rifle even when you are aiming and inspect items.

It’s not about Blackrock, or CBDCs or the filthy broken fiat system - it’s about an alternative to that. A lot of people can point to many broken things in our world. And the root of what is broken is because of the broken money system. The money system is broken. There is death and destruction because of a broken money system and what this technology represents is something different than that. It’s an alternate to that. And that’s what makes it unique and that’s what makes it valuable.”

This man went to his local Home Depot to purchase items for a home project. He arrived in a bike and didn’t have the means to take all of the materials home. He sees a wagon and decides he needs it to take his items home. He opens the box and starts to put it together before he even pays for it. I don’t know any place that would allow this to happen without buying it first. Was this customer being self entitled, what happens if he gets it together and he doesn’t like it?

She walks away to get one. While she’s gone, he completes the transaction and pays. When she returns, she scolds him and tries to take the items back. Police are eventually called. After reviewing the receipt and rescanning the items, officers tell him the price stands and he’s free to leave with his purchase. It’s a tough balance between honoring posted prices and preventing system errors from costing businesses thousands. At the same time, once a transaction is completed legally, it becomes a matter of policy and fairness. Situations like this show how important clear pricing rules and calm communication, really are. If a store’s system rings something up at a penny, is the customer entitled to it, or does the store have the right to correct what may be a pricing mistake?
