Signals intelligence is the audio intelligence that can be matched to light intelligence or used alone. Sound & light signals have been used in intelligence in a variety of ways for over a century & have only been improving. Morse code has been modernized. It was in music, blow horns, & smoke signals in ancient times. Lighthouses & ships used them. The military used it in nearly every operation, including sonar, radar, & waves from satellites. Shortwave radios were once often used. It's also big in videos & movies. Images are still big part with hidden messages in steganography, paintings, & photo shops, but people don't know the vast ways of using light & sound waves, through the advancement of Signals Intelligence. One of its bases is the study of marine wildlife, especially whales and how they communicate and then, it is extended to study of the earth and universe. The sounds & light from the earth and universe can be collected and graphed, as much as dropping sonar or using radio & light transmissions. We can detect sound communications from within earth and with other planets. This is quantum science and technology.
