I had a male babysitter as a kid and he was the best guy ever, he was great and my siblings and I loved him. But I will NEVER. hire a male babysitter for my kids because I don’t know if I’ll be lucky enough to find a guy like that for my kids, and I don’t want to take the risk.

Why would a man or teenager want to look after a child part-time? They hire teenage girls as babysitter's because she's local and needs part-time cash. Women and men are typically working full time to pay for mortgages and rent.

When I was a teen I used to babysit all the kids on my cul-de-sac. There was 28 kids in 8 houses and I babysat most of them. You know, in nice neighborhoods, neighbors take care of each other. As long as the boy isn't trying to be a girl I'm sure it'll be just fine.
