Not all modern art is ugly. Far from it. Take this one for example. It was installed in 2026 in Galitsky Park, Russia, and created by an Italian sculptor many people have seen but few remember by name. It’s called 'Empathy. Female and Male' by Lorenzo Quinn. The meaning... the sculptor intended is usually interpreted directly, that we all need help, some more than others… Recognizing the need for help and actually stepping in is vital.But if you look closely, the work speaks far beyond that. Everyone reads it differently, and that’s probably the real strength of Empathy. Some people see relationships in it, moments when one partner carries more because the other simply can’t, and how life can unexpectedly switch their roles. Relationships aren’t always 50/50, sometimes one partner has to give all 100 until balance returns. As it usually happens with art, everyone interprets the piece through the prism of their own experiences and life. And that’s the beauty of it.show more

One thing that people have spoken of everywhere we went is the toll this war is beginning to take on the people of Ukraine in PTSD and other mental health conditions. We’re only just beginning to grasp the likely scale of it – and how long-lasting the effects may be. While it was wonderful to see people in Britain rallying with support and hospitality for Ukrainians in the first phase of this war, we must now recognise that we need to be in this for the long haul, that’s one of the messages I will take away with me. The whole pattern of life and support is changing from immediate crisis to long-term help. This is not likely to stop soon. Read more:

The first one, organized by Pedro, was for Gaza. $2,600 were raised to support families with food supplies and to help build places of worship. The second one, organized by Voila, was to help people in Sicily who in January were hit by Cyclone Harry. Here the Zeudiners raised €1,200. RachiRa summarized these two incredible initiatives that you undertook. I am very happy and proud of all of this. As always, we stand out from so many people who just talk, talk, talk and criticize, criticize — especially our community. But fundamentally… what do they actually do? Nothing. We donate. Being Dominant means being the One in Control. Some people love it and some hate it, but either way, there is always someone in control and the areas where you are not the one in control, are where you have given that control to someone else! Being the one in control means being the one people TRUST to lead, to be in charge. And for us to hold that responsibility, we gotta be not only comfortable with that role, but to love it! To want it. Control holds negative connotations, yet if it is exerted by someone with positive intentions, it is very healthy. It means you trust yourself and don't need to rely on others to direct you. NOT being in control means chaos. It means helplessness. It means inability to make decisions. Or to take initiatives. It means you are the one that follows. And if that is what you actually desire you have to be conscious of that choice. Otherwise you fall into that role and then wonder why nothing goes as you want. And if you choose to follow, choose your leader wisely. There always is someone in control, someone in charge, someone that leads. There is always a power dynamic. Truth is, we feel safe with those in control. Especially when they show us that them being in that role is positive for us. But so many people trust others more than they trust themselves! Which means being constantly influenced by everyone else's option and advice... which makes then the ones in control of your life! Decide WHO you want to take control when you want or need it, but also choose when YOU should be The One in charge. Developing that self-trust requires radical self responsibility. Which is what people struggle with. Nobody wants to be responsible for anything. And then we blame everyone for why our lives are not what we want them to be. And if you DO want to dominate, start by controling your own Self, your own thoughts, your own life. You can't expect others to trust YOU if YOU don't. Think about it... those that are in control are the people that have the most influence in the world. So if conscious people who desire to create a positive change take more control/responsibility, it would literally change society as we know it.

I have so many questions, but the most glaring one of always why ? It is one thing to live under the same roof and keep your finances separated, that is a far cry from having to do all the shopping, come home itemize every expense and present the “other party” with an invoice and that’s just for the groceries. This lady is more of a beast of burden than anything else🙄 help me understand this, I just don’t get it🤷🏻‍♂️

It is heartbreaking to hear of the loss of life in Kyiv this morning in this appalling attack by Russia. I am praying for all those affected and their families. We were safe and well in a very secure shelter but it is a stark reminder of the dangers people here are facing every day, even when it doesn’t hit the headlines. A reminder again that, with all the crises in the world, we must not and will not forget Ukraine.

I addressed the Irish Oireachtas. It is a great honor for me to stand here today – in a country that understands the price of freedom better than many in Europe, better than many in the world, and that shares our belief that every voice counts, every nation matters. Please remember, your voice matters – from Ireland’s vote at the United Nations, to the words in your media. From your thoughts here in Dublin, to every home in the global Irish community around the world. That’s millions of people who can influence hundreds of millions more. When the most powerful apply pressure, the global community helps guide that pressure in the right direction. The aggressor must be held accountable for what was done. Please, take an active role in making the Tribunal for this aggression a reality. Not just joining, but pushing, working, insisting that justice must begin with accountability. Please, continue to advocate for every form of sanctions against Russia. And it is time for Russian assets to serve the cause of peace – to help defend and rebuild Ukraine. This is a long-overdue decision, and it must be implemented. And please – call on everyone in the world to help return all the children abducted by Russia, and all the prisoners still held in Russian jails and camps – many of whom have been there not just since 2022, but since 2014, when Russia launched its hybrid war against us and occupied Crimea. This has gone on far too long to simply close our eyes and turn the page on Russia. Without a just peace, hatred will not fade – it will continue to smolder and provoke new violence. History has seen this before. And this time, it must be different. We need real peace. Help us achieve it. And never lose your faith in Ukraine.
