No—because they protect you from different things. 💊 PrEP helps prevent HIV. 💊 Doxy-PEP can help reduce the risk of some bacterial STIs, including chlamydia and syphilis, when prescribed and taken correctly after sex. Doxy-PEP does not prevent HIV, so it should not be treated as a replacement for PrEP.
