You really only need ember of char. Ashes + solar fulmination makes it easier for those who don't fully understand why it works. In practice though, you'll never really get to use this except for in the shattered throne, Vesper's host, and court of blades.

Does it need patched? It works well when theres a large group of enemies gathered up that also have an incredible amount of health while also not being shielded/immune. Its fun, but the ignition kinda fails to reach the next chunk of ads or they have a break between spawns.

this has been on forever with the same artifact mod ever since season of the haunted, it was only achievable back then with a weapon that had incandescent, but right now it's pretty straightforward, the only problem is that the chain reaction only works with enemies who have HP+

Its not even that new, you can do the same amount of ignition without the artifact and pure solar, ignition spreads scorch to different targets and can cause them to ignite and spread more scorch, and repeat the cycle. Its been in the game for years actually
