We need to stay on DST year round. I know some hate it, but that extra light in the evening is needed for after school activities and to help with depression rates. There’s a lot of reasons why, but I hope it happens sooner rather than later

In reality it's actually darker. Many streets aren't as well lit as the one in the clip.

Add poorly painted lines and astigmatism and it awesome

Vancouver Islander here. Agree except even darker and Highways haven't repainted the yellow or fog lines in years so you can't see shit then you get blasted by superbright headlights every 3 cars and pray you're still on the highway 😂

I know because I was born and raised there. That rain is the reason I moved to another state. It is 9 months of gloom. It’s a beautiful state, but there is too many gloomy skies for me.

Am I weird for enjoying nasty Washington weather? To me, it's an excuse to stay inside with music playing on my stereo, baking bread and goodies for friends, watching the storm from my windows.

Sorry. That doesn't fly. It most certainly does NOT go through March. Maybe the rain does on the West side, but not the dark. Blatant lie. It's Nov through Jan. By FEb its 5pm..by Feb its 6pm, by March its 6:40 pm.

Most lane markers are non reflective or worn out too.

Compressed hiking or snowshoeing or skiing time. Thats why by April it’s magical. Really it is only November till Jan 1 sucks. After that, crowds die off at ski areas, and moonlight on snow is plenty good. Ski season is the best time of year. It sucks if you must commute.. I havent since 2004.

It's only dark around 4:30 pm from mid-December through late January. I have lived in WA my entire life. Yes, it's dark by 5 pm during standard time, but at least there is daylight before 7 am when many of us have to depart for work.

Hey @elonmusk Cybertruck is VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE in WA when it's grey and it's wet ! I could've easily crashed into one because it blended in and it was right next to me. Mandatory lighting would help a lot . Twilight and Dusk are difficult times to see here too. ???

It's bad enough having to drive anywhere around seattle and surrounding areas in the late afternoon with the traffic. Now we have to also do it in the dark every day and it rains often which makes it even more hazardous. This standard time is ridiculous in my view. Plese make DST an all year thing.

Rain plus drivers that don’t give rain and corners the respect it deserves…oh and let’s not forget fog. 😎
