The property owner that’s building on those lots is allowed to do what they want in their property just like the lady in the video built a house on her lot. Don’t want someone to build a house near yours? Buy up the land around your house. Problem solved.

Looks like a totally normal amount of development, lady being a hysterical bitch about 5 houses 😂

Me admiring how big everyones house is:

Right there with you 😭

100% not moving to the middle of nowhere to live shoulder to shoulder with my neighbors.

I’d be so mad if I lived in that original house

Build baby build! Thomas Sowell points out in “Economic Facts and Fallacies” open space policies limit supply of new homes. Artificial restriction on home building drives up prices dramatically, even when demand increases modestly, because supply can't respond elastically. Lessons learned from CA.

Bitch people need houses that's the only way housing prices can come down.

Bro… I’m gonna tell you something. My road that I grew up on, named after my great grandfather, is now riddled with half million dollar properties on both sides of the road. Out in the country. Wild to watch that happen.

It’s getting so bad

Hang on. Noted levels of pissiosity aside: 1. Original home (on 5-10 acres) gets property tax bill they cant afford ----> goes to county to subdivide dirt (they no longer farm or log) 2. Sells subdivided lot -----> pays property tax bill with proceeds from sale 3. Repeat for other lots each year that bill comes in Dont be mad at the original owner. Be mad at the politicians who put them in this situation. PS: I am probably 15 years from the same scenario and it PHUCKIN' TERRIFIES ME!

The worst part of all of it is that the infrastructure is never upgraded to account for the increase use 1st. Ok thats not the worst part, the worst part is they are likely Dems fleeing the policies they voted for.

So the original house probably owns the land around it and sold it so that it could be developed. There's a house behind property on fifty eight acres. It's being divided into ten homes. Large four plus acre lots.

Forget the house. Did you see the square body? It must be rescued. Someone... Please save it.

A work associate of mine, parents had 200+ acres near Roanoke. Beautiful land. They wanted to sell the land and offered it to the two neighboring farmers who had previously expressed interest or anybody else in the area. The farmers lowballed the 💩out of them. So they reached out to a builder who gave the market value and a percentage of each home constructed as part of a 4 year payment plan. They made 3 times what the land was worth. The people complaining about the development are all the people who had ample time to purchase the land or disrespectfully lowballed the 💩 out of them. Buy the lots before a builder does

People inherit papaws land. See a way to make a quick hundred thousand dollars. Which, to them, is more important. This is the result. I've purchased 2 parcels of land in that exact circumstance. You can call me the problem if you like. But at least I'm not BlackRock.

The people she says were there first were likely the ones who sold the land for those houses to be built on.

Good thing they built yours they must not have gotten the memo yours was supposed to be the last one built their

Unfortunately small town people don’t voice their opinions enough at zoning board meetings and small town politicians are more corrupt per capita GDP than state-federal politicians. They will literally approve anything so long as they get paid. People will sell for anything.

First, the people that lived there forever are the ones that sold the property and made money. Don’t be mad that someone bought it and wants to use it. Second, this lady doesn’t sound like she’s from the south so maybe if she’s mad she should sell her house and go live in a city

What i dont like or want is farmland used to build homes,Also i wish we went back to using brick and build ranch style homes.they work better in hot and cold and better environmentally.because todays wood is crap and the illegals building them suck.

Removing all the trees when they build is criminal. U never used to see that

The fatigue is real. And people are pushing further out.

That first house sold some of their land. Making skrilla ain’t just for city folk.

I don’t understand how everyone can afford $700,000 houses all of a sudden. Crazy.

Happening hugely in the greater grand traverse area

They are probably out looking for a place to live while they are complaining about population growth.

remove all the vegitation and put in lots of roads with no thought to water flow rates in a 5 inch plus rain. retarded.

“Mountains”

This is why I live out in the middle of cotton fields lol

City people are clearing out… not sure where this is but if there’s a small town nearby with a Walmart they’ll blow this place up. You’re mad now, wait till you get your next property tax statement.

If you don't like it you should have bought up the land

Just have the man do the next video - we don’t need you repeating what he says

I believe a monument needs to be made to recognize all those responsible for these new developments so in the near future when they're discovered to be the center of all the new problems we know exactly who to blame. It should be law.

“What’s there even to do in this town?”

How else are we gonna fix the housing shortage?

I hope its all Indian and Chinese people 😂😂 Dont cry now.

Packing houses like this with limited road access leads to fires like Paradise.
