@ddisparte @GIS_Reports USDC for the AI agents. Duke’s here for the humans on Arc 🙂

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Stablecoins can give agents a settlement asset. Institutions still need to know which principal authorized the agent, what it may purchase and when access expires. Payment speed matters only after delegated authority is explicit and revocable.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports First of all usdc is cool, and when it comes to agentic micropayments on @arc Have you guys seen what @Craagentarc is building?

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they all did though 🤩

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Not everyone shares the preference for USDC, but it's interesting that it's become the standard when stablecoins are necessary.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Study @TollyLabs Arc founding project Fair launched Og status confirmed

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports And usdc is cool

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports The idea of AI agents holding and spending USDC is pretty interesting

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports AI agents need a bank account withuot bankers.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports USDC is the HTTP for Money!

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports they did branding right this is the effect when u build with regulators on ur side

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports and when AI agents need to offramp?

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports USDC being the default rails kinda tracks

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports When AI agents transact in USDC, the next question is what checks the transfer before money moves. We're building SECONDED as a second check: two models from rival labs check blind, answering only when both agree. Paid in USDC via x402. Testnet now, coming soon.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports The ability to actually transact is what makes agents more useful

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports stability is the only way agents actually get stuff done long term

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports A stablecoin transfer records the amount and two addresses. The mandate the agent spent under sits outside it. EU AI Act Art. 50 transparency applies from 2 Aug 2026, Art. 12 logging from 2 Dec 2027, and both ask for a record a third party can check.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports when AI agents need to transact with stablecoins, USDC is the preferred choice.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports The real unlock is treating agents like economic actors, not chatbots. Give them a wallet, clear permissions, and an outcome to own—and suddenly “autonomous” means something.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports usdc becoming the agent default is a serious network effect play

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports USDC is the preferred choice, no surprise, given its stable value and Square's penchant for backing solid investments, always a smart move.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports When arc $CRCL launching? @ellipsefun waiting for u

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports USDC may be the agent's default, @circle, but its float is shrinking underneath. Over the last 30 days we tracked USDC net issuance at -$169M, while yield-bearing USDe added $854M. Usage and supply are pulling in different directions here.

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Do people trust AI agents enough to let them make payments on their behalf? What are the use cases?

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports Preference is one thing, but what does "transact" mean here, one-off payments or agents holding balances and managing their own liquidity?

@ddisparte @GIS_Reports If agents are going to move value on their own, they need money that clears fast and doesn’t create compliance headaches. That’s a clean lane for USDC.
