Marine Arrogance 101 What truly sets Marines apart—is that rare and powerful quality we call esprit de corps. Standing on the shoulders of giants, we carry the ghosts of every Marine. We stand with the Devil Dogs of Belleau Wood—the Teufelshunde—We stand with the warriors who stormed the blood-soaked beaches and islands of the Pacific: Tarawa, Iwo Jima, and countless others where the sand ran red. We stand with the Frozen Chosin, who fought and marched out of hell in sub-zero darkness. We stand with the Marines who clawed through Hue City, held Khe Sanh against impossible odds, and slogged through the mud and rice paddies of Southeast Asia. We stand with those who rolled across the desert in Desert Storm, fought house-to-house in Iraqi Freedom, and held the line in the long war of GWOT in Afghanistan. That’s why, no matter where we are on November 10th, every Marine raises a glass to the Corps’ birthday, we’ll never settle for being an Army of one. For most of us, it’s not something we were—it’s something we are. It is the single most defining part of who and what we are. Some call it arrogance. We call it pride—and we have every right to it. We are the most feared, most ferocious warriors to ever walk this earth. We are what every other branch wishes they could be. Modern Day Spartans! This isn’t bragging but Some will still whisper “arrogance” and then we smile. So, why are Marines special? Hell if I know—we just are. Respectfully, The Few. The Proud. The Marines. 🦅🌎⚓️

China is my 61st country 🇨🇳 I’ve spent 2 days in Shenzhen and here’s what amazed me: - Scale! Everything is huge. The city itself is 2x Hong Kong size or 33% Canada size. It easily takes 30-50 min by car or tube to go from one area to another. - Very high tech. Robot deliveries for in-room dining, drones delivering food in the parks, 10 stories robotics markets. - There are also robocard without drivers in some areas but I didn’t have time to try it. - Extremely green. Shenzhen pioneers the concept of harmony between nature and urban planning. It’s basically a city embedded into mountains, sea and greenery. Parks everywhere. - Immaculately clean everywhere from streets to casual eateries. Very high contrast with Yangshuo where I was before. - High patriotism and love for the country & people in every detail. Looks like a great city to live in. - Though nothing is equipped for handicapped people - in general saw this across China so far - The city is very young - only 49 years old. And looks like the population is very young, too. I’ve seen maybe 5% of people over 50 years old on the streets. the only place in China so far where I was constantly asked for Chinese phone number for payments. Still don’t know why. - Very limited English, despite high tech and education. Hotel / restaurant staff didn’t speak at all. Almost no English explanations in museums even - to me it feels like a statement that West is not needed here - Smoking cult. Everywhere, even the room in my non-smoking hotel smelled of cigarettes - A lot of parks, squares and communal areas where people do sports, dance, sing and socialise - Incredible architecture! There are some pretty unique buildings. Each museum site is a masterpiece.

GUYS!!! Quit feeling bummed about Niantic destroying our global communities and the constant screw ups with events / features that end in terrible compensation!!!!!! The team has been working on groundbreaking user experience updates 😀🙂😐 Anyway, since we're on the topic can we discuss other ideas that would actually improve UXP significantly compared to reorganizing the research tab that most of us have probably gotten used to by now anyway and that didn't have an explicitly negative impact on playing the game? Lol 1. This is an obvious one. I mean, they did a whole upgrade to the research tab and couldn't be bothered to include the ONE LINE OF CODE that ALREADY EXISTS IN THEIR FILES to make the BATTLE PASS REWARDS COLLAPSIBLE???????? Come on lol 2. An update to navigating within gyms would be nice :) i attached a video of me trying to feed berries and no matter what or how I clicked or swiped I could not get to that gdamn accelgor 🫠 can we have some ARROWS at the sides of the screen so we can actually get to each pokemon efficiently?! 3. Similar to #2, except with the friends list. When scrolling left and right through friends (as in, not in the list view) the scrolling function itself is not smoothe and it's too easy to accidentally press the trade or battle screen and get caught there for a sec. Frustrating little experience, could be easily fixed with arrows on the screen. 4. While we're on the topic of friends, let us see if we've interacted with a friend from their avatar screen and not just in list view from the blue aura around the avi's face :) In the grand scheme of everything Niantic does wrong with the game, these are... MINISCULE issues 🙂 but since they're apparently into focusing on UXP updates, instead of, like, making sure events and features run smoothly and players are properly compensated when they don't, it would be nice to get updates that actually fix some negative / inefficient aspects of navigating through the game 🙂 rather than an aesthetics tweak lol 🙂

. Today, on the sacred 7th of May 2026, our film Krishnavataram The Movie arrives before the world with the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath. This is not merely the release of a motion picture; it feels like the unfolding of a prayer woven through cinema, music, silence, devotion, and emotion. Hardik Gajjar Films (The Director) and his entire team have created a deeply sensitive and spiritually moving experience that reveals Lord Krishna not only as the Supreme Divine, but as the eternal embodiment of love itself. The film delicately touches those unseen emotional shades of Krishna where compassion becomes music, silence becomes दर्शन, and love becomes the very breath of existence. It feels as though Krishna, while leaving this world, left fragments of His own heart behind for humanity to discover through devotion. The legendary Prakash Kapadia has written dialogues with extraordinary philosophical depth and emotional intensity. His words do not merely describe Krishna, they unveil Him layer by layer, allowing the audience to experience the tenderness, pain, divinity, playfulness, sacrifice, and cosmic love that exist within His consciousness. There are moments in the film where the dialogues feel less like writing and more like timeless revelations flowing from another realm. Irshad Kamil ji also has penned great songs which create magic on the screen. And then comes the soul of the film — its music. The music composed by Prasad S is not something one simply listens to; it slowly dissolves into the listener’s inner being like sacred incense lingering in the air of an ancient temple long after the lamps have faded. His compositions possess an extraordinary spiritual fragrance, where every note carries longing, surrender, stillness, devotion, and grace. There is a rare emotional purity in his music that touches the deepest corners of the heart without demanding attention — it simply enters silently and stays forever. Prasad’s understanding of emotion through sound is profoundly exceptional. He has not composed mere melodies for this film; he has sculpted states of consciousness. The background score breathes with Krishna’s compassion, smiles with His leelas, and weeps with His separation. Certain musical passages continue to echo within the soul long after the scene has ended, like a distant flute still calling from the banks of Vrindavan. His music possesses that rare divine quality where silence itself begins to sing. What touches me even more deeply is his humility. Prasad said to me that I was one of the driving forces behind the music of Krishnavataram, but the truth is, he himself is one of those divinely chosen souls blessed with rare sensitivity, grace, and sincerity. Despite his immense talent, he remains extraordinarily grounded, soft-spoken, and pure-hearted, someone who never claims success as his own alone, but lovingly shares its light with every co-artist who walks beside him. Perhaps that quiet humility, more than even his brilliance, is what makes him truly special to me. I feel very fortunate to have lent my voice and written lyrical expressions for the background score of this sacred cinematic journey. May Krishnavataram & its music awaken devotion, love, and inner stillness in every heart it touches. Because Krishna was not loved merely for being God, Krishna was loved because He understood the language of the human soul. SO REQUESTING EVERYONE TO GO TO THE NEARBY THEATRES AND WATCH THE MOVIE “KRISHNAVATARAM” AND WITNESS THE MAGNIFICENCE OF LORD KRISHNA !! prasad sashte Dr. Sajan Raj Kurup Harsh Sanghavi poonam shroff Raam Mori पंकज त्रिपाठी Shefali Vaidya. 🇮🇳 Dr. S. let me explain what Anthropic just did they built an AI model so good at finding security vulnerabilities that they have refused to release it meet Claude Mythos → it’s Anthropic’s newest frontier model and it’s not available to the public. not because it’s not ready. because it’s too dangerous → Mythos found tens of thousands of zero day vulnerabilities across every major operating system and web browser… many of them 1 to 2 decades old. for context… Opus 4.6 found about 500. Mythos found tens of thousands → it found vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel. a 27 year old vulnerability in OpenBSD. a 16 year old vulnerability in FFmpeg → it doesn’t just find bugs. it writes the exploits too. that’s the part that scared them → so instead of releasing it… Anthropic has created Project Glasswing. a cybersecurity initiative where they hand picked 40+ companies to use Mythos for defense only → the partner list reads like a who’s who of tech… Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, JPMorgan, the Linux Foundation → Anthropic is giving up to $100 million in usage credits to these partners and $4 million to open source security organizations → they’re briefing CISA and the Commerce Department on how to handle this → the benchmarks are truly insane… Mythos hit 77.8% on SWE-bench Pro where Opus 4.6 scored 53.4%. hit 93.9% on SWE-bench Verified where Opus 4.6 scored 80.8% → Anthropic’s head of frontier red team said this is “the first time a model is this good that we decided to approach release in a very different way” this is the first time an AI company has held back a model because it was too capable not too expensive. not too slow. too dangerous and instead of locking it in a vault they weaponized it for defense and gave it to the companies that run the internet that’s either the most responsible thing an AI company has ever done… or the scariest only time will tell

My Lost Soul Aside Impressions: I’m playing on the PS5 Pro in performance mode with a VRR display, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. For me, the image looks sharp and the gameplay runs very smooth with 60fps. Even during big boss fights, I haven’t noticed any significant drops. Claims that the game runs at 20fps are absolute nonsense. I wouldn’t recommend quality mode, as the missing frames per second and the input delay are a major disadvantage, especially with such fast-paced gameplay. Visually, I’d say the game looks very good, but not outstanding. Environmental details are sometimes not fully polished, and the facial animations could be better. On the other hand, the characters are incredibly detailed, which I really enjoyed. The combat animations are absolutely fantastic, and the choreographed fight cutscenes are brilliant. Boss fights are simply phenomenal and I loved every second of them. The whole experience feels like a mix of Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. Bosses also come with certain mechanics you have to trigger, which adds depth. The soundtrack has impressed me so far, mixing rock tracks with softer melodies that really bring the fantasy world to life. However, the audio mixing between cutscenes and gameplay is sometimes off and should be fixed. The game is very linear, which I personally find refreshing and not a negative at all. The map reminds me of Final Fantasy X, with some side paths that hide chests or items. Puzzles are simple but help break things up. Larger areas are often rather empty though, and exploration can feel unrewarding when all you find is “+7 gold.” The story so far is quite predictable. I didn’t enjoy the English voice acting and switched to the Chinese original, which feels much better. I also made some adjustments to improve my experience: in the sound menu, I boosted the weapon effects and increased the music volume. In combat, I found there’s too much chatter and subtitles are distracting, so I turned them off completely. The game is challenging, and I’d definitely consider it demanding. There are no difficulty options, but if you die often enough, you’ll get amulets that make the gameplay noticeably easier. Now, onto the clear highlight of the game: the combat system. My goodness, it’s amazing. The chaining of attacks and overall complexity are simply brilliant. It’s an endless fireworks display of effects, and for me the wait was truly worth it. At first, combat might seem simple, but as you progress you unlock new weapons with their own skill trees, special attacks that can be upgraded, new combo actions, and the ability to switch weapons instantly in battle to chain them into even more combos. Different weapons can also interact with the environment and trigger special effects. It’s just genius. Another fantastic feature is weapon customization. You can freely change the appearance of your weapons, as every weapon can take on the look of another. You can also adjust details in real time, resize parts, reposition them, and all changes are applied instantly without requiring resources. Even better, these customizations carry over into cutscenes. When you move to the next level, the camera zooms out and shows your characters in a charming overworld view, similar to Expedition 33. A really nice touch. So far, I’ve been enjoying the game immensely, and I simply couldn’t put it down. If you’re expecting a combo-based combat system, you definitely won’t be disappointed in my opinion. The linear level design felt incredibly refreshing, and it genuinely transported me back to the PS2 era, always leaving me with a warm feeling in my heart.

📍 Vega City, Bannerghatta Road Take a look at the condition of this road. At first glance, it may appear to be a normal black patch, but in reality, the surface is completely damaged, filled with loose stones, mud, uneven patches, and crater-like potholes. This has turned what should be a safe public road into a serious hazard for commuters. The question every taxpayer is asking is: where is the tax money going? Citizens pay road tax, property tax, fuel tax, and various other charges, yet basic road infrastructure continues to deteriorate. During the rainy season, these roads get flooded and resemble small lakes, making travel dangerous and difficult. When there is no rain, the situation is hardly any better, as loose gravel, broken surfaces, and potholes pose risks to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. Bengaluru is known as India's technology capital, but many of its roads continue to reflect poor planning, delayed maintenance, and a lack of accountability. Residents are forced to navigate damaged roads every day while infrastructure projects and promises of development continue to dominate headlines. Do the lives and safety of citizens not matter? How many accidents, vehicle damages, and daily inconveniences must people endure before permanent solutions are implemented? Roads are not a luxury they are a basic necessity, and taxpayers deserve infrastructure that is safe, reliable, and maintained throughout the year. Karnataka State Police DGP KARNATAKA S. The Pizza Theif GPT Image 2 and Seedance on Pollo AI Prompt : Pixar-Inspired 3D Animated Comedy Short Create a fast-paced Pixar-style 3D animated comedy set in a vibrant modern city during golden hour. A cheerful pizza delivery boy rides through busy streets carrying a large pizza box for an important delivery. Nearby, a hungry and mischievous thief notices the pizza and immediately becomes obsessed with stealing it. His stomach growls as he imagines the delicious meal waiting inside. Without warning, the thief snatches the pizza box and sprints away. The delivery boy notices instantly and chases after him. A hilarious city-wide pursuit begins. They race through crowded markets, outdoor cafés, fountains, traffic-filled streets, festivals, narrow alleyways, and busy plazas. People jump aside, pigeons scatter into the sky, scooters narrowly miss them, and both characters barely avoid countless obstacles. The chase becomes bigger, faster, and more ridiculous with every turn. The thief finally reaches a rooftop overlooking the city skyline at sunset. Exhausted but victorious, he laughs proudly and slowly opens the pizza box, expecting a delicious reward after the wild chase. Silence. The box is completely empty. The thief stares inside in disbelief. Moments later, the exhausted delivery boy arrives. Both stand there breathing heavily. The delivery boy shrugs and says: "It's for a pizza photoshoot." The thief freezes. Long awkward silence. Then the delivery boy opens his delivery bag and reveals a real slice of pizza. He offers it to the thief. Surprised, the thief accepts. The music shifts from action-comedy to warm friendship. Both sit on the rooftop watching the sunset while eating pizza together. The empty pizza box sits beside them as they laugh about the absurd chase. Final cinematic shot: wide view of the city skyline at sunset, the delivery boy and thief sharing pizza on the rooftop. Final Text: "Sometimes the chase is bigger than the prize." Pixar-quality 3D animation, expressive facial reactions, cinematic camera movement, dynamic action sequences, colorful city environments, exaggerated comedy timing, warm emotional ending, golden-hour lighting, ultra-detailed rendering, movie-quality visuals, smooth scene transitions, 16:9 widescreen.

This is GIFT City. But this post is about Gurugram. Wide roads. Underground utility tunnels. District cooling. Automated waste collection. Green-certified buildings. More than 1,200 registered entities and $111 billion in banking assets. It is not Shanghai, Shenzhen or Dubai yet. But the direction is visible. Gujarat imagined a city that could compete with global financial centres. Then it started building the infrastructure required for that ambition. Now come to Gurugram. The city credited with contributing around 65% of Haryana’s revenue. Around 25% of the state’s GST collection comes from Gurugram. Last year, it contributed ₹3,875 crore from liquor-zone auctions alone. That was 27% of Haryana’s total. The Bristol Chowk licensing zone alone fetched nearly ₹100 crore. Mr Nayab Singh Saini, what exactly is Gurugram getting in return? Garbage is lying on roads across the city. Gurugram generates around 1,200 tonnes of waste every day. The waste collection system has survived on temporary arrangements since the main contract was terminated in June 2024. Nearly two years later, the city is still floating tenders and searching for a permanent solution. Then come the roads. An MCG survey found more than 2,000 potholes across eight zones. One division alone had 600. Only 387 had been repaired when those numbers were reported. By February 2026, MCG had to announce another drive targeting 5,000 potholes in ten days. We do not have a road-maintenance system. We have pothole-filling announcements after every round of public outrage. Then it rains. In July 2025, 133 mm of overnight rain brought Gurugram to a standstill. Subhash Chowk had around 2.5 feet of water. People remained stuck in traffic until 2 AM. Open manholes disappear under rainwater. Potholes become invisible. Roads turn into accident traps. Then the electricity goes. A resident of DLF Phase 1 reported an eight-hour power cut after a five-minute drizzle. In May 2026, a fault at the Sector 72 substation disrupted eight substations and even affected Rapid Metro operations. This is happening in one of the most expensive corporate and residential districts in India. And money is not the problem. MCG spent ₹1,282 crore out of its ₹1,497 crore expenditure budget by January 2026. But only ₹85 crore had gone towards road construction and ₹240 crore towards sanitation and waste management. So the problem is worse than merely having an unspent budget. Money is being spent. Residents simply cannot see the outcome on the roads outside their homes. We are not asking Haryana to build another GIFT City tomorrow. We are asking for three things. Roads that remain usable after rain. Electricity that does not disappear with the first storm. Garbage that gets collected before every vacant plot becomes a dumping ground. These are not luxury demands. These are the most basic functions of a government. Property prices in Gurugram have reached global-city levels. People are paying ₹5 crore, ₹8 crore and ₹10 crore for apartments. But outside the gates, the roads, drains and electricity systems still feel like they belong to another decade. Gujarat looked at an empty piece of land and imagined a global city. Haryana already has one of India’s strongest economic cities. It does not need to imagine it. It only needs to stop neglecting it. Fix the roads. Fix the power. Pick up the garbage. That is all Gurugram is asking for. Video credit, Reddit: [aamirusiddiqui]
