Yeah, this is building community! Community policing is a real thing! If the people trust the cops and the cops trust the community, the bad guys get turned in and caught because the community doesn't want them around and they know the can trust the cops!

Of course cops would do this. Free drinks. But I've got to be on the other side of this one. I've seen Mexican parties playing a full band in the front yard at 3:30am--cops love irritating people.

This how it should be, and why every violent, corrupt cop should be shunned by good cops. If you become part of the community the community responds positively. The us v them only benefits the wrong people on either side.

This are the neighborhood cops, knowing that a party and it's not even quiet hours yet. Is not and disturbance, now if that party was at 2 am, yes the cops you have told them to shut the noise and go inside! Love to see cops being part of the neighborhood
