Young couple living in the bush’s just down the street, us and a few neighbours take in turns to take them a warm meal , one neighbour gave them an old tatty trailer tent that we wheeled into the bush’s but now the council have been out and are going to remove it 🙄🤦‍♂️😡fubar

Keeps coming back to priorities. UK's priorities are completely upside down. If you can afford to spend literally billions of pounds housing randoms in hotels across, you can afford to put locals who have fallen on hard times in there too. You can. They just don't want to.

a good society provides temporary housing for its own citizens in need. 3 months housing could be sufficient to find a permanent resident and get back on your feet. A lot of european countries dont do that 100 pct. Even denmark got 7000 homeless by now- its disgraceful
