The property belongs to the SADF. Am I correct? The Government allows it.

The Castle is a National Monument with it and the space around it managed by National Department of Arts and Culture .... time to transfer this heritage asset to the City and have it properly managed like other City of Cape Town tourist assets.

They are on government owned land. Not City land. The castle belongs to the military. The city can not evict them. Only the state. And we know how long that will take.

There were tourists at fireman's arms standing on the side just handling large sums of money. Had to remind these tourist that you are still in Africa and someone will take your stuff. They laughed me off. They didn't laugh when the police had to come.

The grounds belong to public works. They have tried half heartedly to evict them.
