Learning Michael Harriott had tweets about not voting for Hillary Clinton at the time of her campaign. These Black elite scholars helped us get where we are now. The Supreme Court has gutted the voting rights act. Many people listen to these Black scholars and were influenced.

A retired US Army Brig. General I worked with once told me (regarding presentations) not to make statements that could be understood. Instead, he said to make statements that CANNOT BE MISUNDERSTOOD. Glaude should have paid heed to this advice.

AND the largest part of his television audience (MSNBC) is white. So he encouraged a bunch of white people not to vote for the Democratic nominee.

@esglaude is not a political scientist or historian. He is a humanities professor who does not understand a lot about the political structure. He likes to cry and hear his voice. He is in no way shape or form qualified to be a political analyst. A disgrace!

This aint it. We all should be more reflective in this moment and understand none of us are without fault. But I'm not understanding how people are pointing fingers at Glaude and Turner. They are principled people. But have no smoke for Dem leadership. That's why we're here.

I voted for Bernie in the primary. I believe Bernie withdrew have beaten Trump in 2016. I did hold my nose to vote for HC in the General Election. I live in a red state so it didn’t matter. I’m tired of always voting for harm reduction; the less or two evils. I guess that’s our burden as Black Americans.

As a Sanders supporter myself I totally understood the nuances of what he said and why. Lest we forget a considerable amount of people were rightfully upset about how DNC and the Clintons handled the 2015 primaries in forcing her as the candidate.
