I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. This woman was trying to break into the fashion world. She and her photographer were going around NYC taking photographs that were bold and daring. She was in the process of taking this photo when a woman starts to yell at her about how she can’t work without looking out the window and seeing the young lady hanging onto the guard rail for a pose. She expressed she was worried she was going to fall. The young lady was more interested that the woman owns a magazine than she was about her own safety, she then proceeds to call her a Karen for their interaction. To me it seems like she was voicing honest concern, she wasn’t trying to cause an issue and it was in fact the actions of the young lady that was the cause of the distraction for those in the city that day. What is your take on this, was this a valid concern on the lady’s behalf?

This woman went to Walgreens for some last minute items. she paid and was about to leave when she saw a big van parked right next to her, it was strange since there was so many empty spots around but they chose to park their van with the sliding door next to her driver’s door. This has always confused me. She tributes to Her dad about never giving up on her and her mom for being her strength in her high school yearbook post. But yet she always says her dad left her after the divorce and her she never had a strong female figure. She said her grandmother on her deathbed asked her to forgive her mom. She said her grandfather was the only male in her life. And she was kicked out at 14. Had to live with a boyfriend and pay for herself. So is she lying about her childhood? Why didn’t she say thank you to her grandfather she says raised her and taught her everything about being who she is? The funniest thing about Koromone is that she started with opening prayer and then went on a full blown lie. We will reconcile all these in heaven. Like I said before, this video was unnecessary. Every sensible person knows you're not responsible for the offences of your friend or sibling. Only reason people dragged her into it was to hold a mirror to her face as a feminist for feminists always asking people to publicly call out their friends and family. It has never made sense. Again, I don't expect you to ostracise or drag your family publicly because of an offence. Family is still family. But she chose to drag her mom and brother publicly and deny a relationship with him for public validation - a denial that was largely unnecessary and even worse, untrue. Now, her credibility lacks merit because there is no way to believe anything said in this video if half of it is proven to be a lie. Feminist Christian 😊 Having said that, she is merely a liar and clearly, she doesn’t even feel anything for the victims. It was all posturing for validation. The brother is still the abuser in all these. Whatever her brother posted ordinarily shouldn't be a problem because what she did is what family do for family. Every sensible person knows you're not responsible for the offences of your friend or sibling. Only reason people dragged her into it was to hold a mirror to her face as a feminist for feminists always asking people to publicly call out their friends and family. It has never made sense. Again, I don't expect you to ostracise or drag your family publicly because of an offence. Family is still family. But she chose to drag her mom and brother publicly and deny a relationship with him for public validation - a denial that was largely unnecessary and even worse, untrue.
