Only reason why it's gold standard because how expensive it is. The person who makes the Golden rule holds the gold. Simple test that measures the distance and grading the landing jump can also prevent injury.

The original video makes total sense, you wanna test a movement test it functionally, not by expensive product researchers use. Not to mention their outstanding clinical experience 😉

My favorite part of the isokinetic testing in the video is the improper set-up. Let me know if you see it.
