Not sure how I feel about #Corrie drawing a parallel between Dylan & Lauren’s actions. Consensual strangulation involves an inherent power imbalance, a level of control over another person’s safety that simply isn’t comparable to Lauren pushing Dylan and him falling over a kerb.

I hate that Lauren has done this to Dylan...Of course I understand her motives and her trauma but two wrongs don't make a right in this situation. #Corrie It's almost a bit vigilante, she's still not listening to Betsy and is taking the law into her own hands, that's not going to help any of them. Dylan has done wrong, how he handled this whole situation has not painted him in good light so far. However now Lauren has joined him in the exact same boat - the only difference is her attacking him had clear intent. Absolutely no one is fixed, it still remains broken. Also the way Dylan hit his head - he could've died.

I want to explain in a nutshell why the US debt situation is at a very dangerous inflection point. Put simply, the US is now spending 40% more than we’re taking in. This accumulation of debt service payments has spiraled over decades and is starting to squeeze away buying power. And if you run the numbers, there’s an imbalance between how much debt has to be sold, who the buyers are, and the likelihood of it all being bought. Together, these two influences are why I worry about suffering an economic heart attack in the near future.
