The way he reset his base/feet so he's able to drive his hips into the throw before getting hit gave me goosebumps. This is something even vets have a hard time with from time to time. A few days ago, I met someone I’ll never forget. His name is Austin. He’s homeless, lives on the beach… and yet, he might be the happiest, most genuine soul I’ve ever met. There was something different about him; this quiet peace, this joy, this deep kindness. Over the last couple of days, we shared some moments I’ll hold onto forever. I took him on his first rollercoaster ride. His first baseball game. We bought supplies/food together and gave back to other homeless people in need. I thought I was showing him a good time… but truthfully, Austin had the bigger impact on me. He reminded me of what really matters; gratitude, presence, connection. That happiness doesn’t always come from having more, but from appreciating what you already have. I offered to get him a place, to help him into a shelter, but he didn’t want it. The beach is his home. It’s his happy place. And I respect that. Before we parted, I got him a phone and made sure he had my number so we can always stay in touch. He’s not just someone I met, he’s a new friend. Thank you, Austin. Looking forward to more memories together 🫶🌊

I want to correct the narrative and misinformation that people are spreading from this live about “manly” comment. Lot of people are spreading a completely misinterpreted context of this situation. Jimin has NOT argued against being called manly. He “scolded” a fan who called him manly & then immediately laughed afterwards. He said you are not supposed to laugh after calling someone manly because that makes it seem like a joke. He didn’t say to not call him that and it is a completely made up narrative spread by huge number of people. It is shocking how many people never actually watched the full clip and just decided to go with the false “jimin told fan not to call him manly” narrative. His “issue” was fan laughing after saying it to him, not the word itself. Please don’t put words into Jimin’s mouth just so you can project the image you have on him. So many of you love putting him in the box and it is genuinely disrespectful. The both instances many people are using of jimin “arguing” against being called mainly were a joke w a fan/interviewer that people misinterpreted so they can project their own idea on him. "Walter always said the Fourth of July was for everyone else. His daughter used to invite him inside before the fireworks started, close the curtains, turn the television up, and pretend she wasn’t watching his hands. Walter hated that part most. He didn’t want pity. He didn’t want people whispering around him. He wanted to sit on his own porch, in his own chair, and act like the noise didn’t still reach places in him he couldn’t explain. He had come home from Vietnam a long time ago, but some nights never seemed as far away as they should have. Most days, Walter was steady. He mowed his lawn, fixed the loose rail by the steps, and waved at every neighbor who passed. Loud sudden sounds were the one thing that could still pull the room out from under him. That night, the first fireworks started before it was fully dark. Walter stayed outside anyway. He sat on the porch steps with his cap low over his face, trying to breathe through each burst like he’d done so many times before. Duke watched him from the walkway. The black shepherd mix had been with Walter for three years. He knew the small things: the way Walter’s shoulders tightened before he said he was fine, the way his fingers curled when the noise got too close, the way silence after a loud boom sometimes scared him more than the boom itself. Another firework cracked over the neighborhood, and Walter covered his face with both hands. Duke came up the steps slowly. He didn’t crowd him. He just walked close enough, waited a second, then rested his head on Walter’s knee. Walter’s hand dropped almost right away. He touched Duke’s ear, then the side of his neck, and his breathing started to slow. The fireworks kept going behind them, lighting the street in red and white, but Walter wasn’t alone with the sound anymore. After a while, he leaned forward and held Duke with both arms. “Good boy,” he whispered. Duke stayed there until the noise moved farther away. In 2021, I met a little boy in Darkuman who was making toy cars out of pieces of wood. I remember looking at him and thinking, “This child is gifted.” But behind that gift was a painful story. Prince Kojo was being raised by a single mother who was struggling to make ends meet. He had very little support and was enduring abuse at the hands of his stepfather. Like many children born into difficult circumstances, he had talent, dreams, and potential, but not the opportunities he needed to thrive. By the grace of God, we took him under our care at For The Future Ghana, supported his education, secured a scholarship for him to study Robotics at Asustem Robotics, and helped put him on the right path to gain admission to a TVET school, where he started studying Auto Mechanics last year. Today, Prince Kojo is beginning a sponsored automotive training programme at the West African Vehicle Academy in Accra during his school vacation. Sometimes I look at his journey and wonder what would have happened if nobody had stopped to care. How many brilliant children are out there right now, full of potential but trapped by circumstances they did not choose? Prince Kojo’s story reminds me that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. And sometimes, all it takes to change a child’s life forever is one person deciding to believe in them. Who knows what is next for him? Maybe one day he will build his own automobile company. Maybe he will design vehicles that transform the industry, or perhaps he will start his own toy car manufacturing company. What I do know is this: his story is only just beginning. And I could not be more proud of him. ❤️

Watching My Son Jump Off a Cliff Was Way Harder Than I Had Imagined! When Jesse turned 18, he did his first big wall BASE jump in the Italian Dolomites. Under canopy by 10 seconds or it's toast. That's the margin between life and death. As his dad, every instinct screamed at me to stop him. To protect him. To say absolutely not. My job as a father is to keep him safe. To use my experience to guide him away from unnecessary risk. But Jesse is his own man. Kind, humble, hard working, original. And I can't stop him jumping off stuff. As we say in our family: "Pull high, don't die." Watching your child do something that dangerous is harder than any mountain I've ever climbed. You can't control it. You can't be there. You just have to trust that you've given them the tools and the values to make good decisions on their own. Sometimes the greatest act of love is letting go. Trusting that they're ready to fly on their own. Even when every instinct is screaming to hold on. What's one moment you've had to let go as a parent or a leader?

Being Super Junior’s leader is really an extreme job and I am just happy that Leeteuk has a strong will and the longest patience. I wouldn’t blame him bursting out of anger from all the things he endured for so many years and just say that “it’s okay” or “for the team” instead of getting angry. Just imagine Super Junior had 13 members how many of them made mistakes and fight each other and fight other people — and all of that Leeteuk was included in the scolding and punishment because he is the leader even if it’s not his fault or he wasn’t involved. Plus back then SM management was really unforgiving, hard, and harsh to him and not to mention some seniors before who abuse his kindness and do power-tripping. Again, thank you for everything, uri leader-nim, Leeteuk 💙

STOP poisoning your babies!! "Day 13 after the 💉 7:39 am before daycare 5:10 pm intubated because he can’t breathe. Life flight coming to get him. Life flight leaving with him Him TERRIFIED not knowing what is happening. Chronic ear infections needing antibiotics that wreck their gut? Sick shortly after receiving 💉? “When I got to him that day he started to turn blue. I picked him up and held him out in front of me to open up his airway. He was still moving all extremities at that point. Minutes, maybe even seconds who knows, later his arms went limp and fell back behind him. The rest of his body then quit moving in my arms as well. 9-1-1 rushed us to the ER. All tests, blood work, scans, x-rays were normal. They intubated him because he was struggling to breathe on his own. Life flight came and reintubated him because he was uncomfortable. We got to Childrens at the same time they did. They admitted him and immediately took him for his MRI. Dr. Cullimore knew what was happening before we even got there. They had just had 2 children with the SAME thing leave in the last two weeks with it, they came from the same ER as each other. One left a day before we got there…but it’s “rare” right? They asked all sorts of questions. So many tried to blame his daycare provider. I knew that would never be the case. After his MRI she sat us down and specifically said “this can be caused by a vaccine or a virus”. My heart sank. I knew what happened to him. Still mad I didn’t get that on video. If you can plan a nursery, you can take the time to read an insert for your childs safety and wellbeing. My baby was not sick.”

After personally falling victim to one of Issa / Parsa Abbasie’s scams I have made it my mission to assist in the legal cases against him before that’ll land his ass in jail. Fortunately for me, and unfortunately for issathegooner, I am not alone. People with a lot more money than me have been fucked over by Parsa and have been building robust cases of their own. I plan to open much of this info soon. If I were Parsa, I would roll into fetal position and cry in a cold shower because there is no way he’s getting out of this scott free. Where in Lebanon or anywhere in this world will a Ghanaian enter to go and treat foreigners this way in their own house and on their own land. Forget the weak minded Ghanaian workers who aid them. I told my 65 year old father NOT TO GO to the Pudgy Pop up! My parents live in NYC, I asked them about the pop-up to see how close it is. Turns out it's 50 minutes and 2 train rides away. I'm not gonna put him through that journey. Saturday night, he calls me up & sends me this video In the video, he says: "This is very very very incredible. So very! It's very beautiful!" I share this to say this is a 65 Yr old man who knows nothing about this world except what I share with him. He went to casually pick up an item & surprise us, waited in line, & got the warmest treatment from the team. Walked out with the Pudgy Bouquet for us and the Pax & Polly keychains for him and my mom (jealous) and stories he could not stop talking about The phone call was literally him just going on and on about the vibe, the staff, the smiles, the people and everything in between. My dad went to his first Pudgy event before I did & I'm happy for it! Thank you Pudgy Penguins for putting a smile on my old man's face and getting him to feel the Pudgy experience IRL. We proliferate one small memorable experience at a time. How are you playing your part?

Walked out with the Pudgy Bouquet for us and the Pax & Polly keychains for him and my mom (jealous) and stories he could not stop talking about The phone call was literally him just going on and on about the vibe, the staff, the smiles, the people and everything in between. My dad went to his first Pudgy event before I did & I'm happy for it! Thank you Pudgy Penguins for putting a smile on my old man's face and getting him to feel the Pudgy experience IRL. A week ago, I took Kuno to the emergency animal hospital. I burst into tears when we got there because it was obvious he was hurting. I've experienced a lot of physical pain in my life, but the gut-wrenching feeling that comes with seeing a dog you love in pain is right up there. I expected them to medicate him for pain, maybe give him a shot for nausea. I never pictured he wouldn't come home with me. Our relationship was different than most. We learned all about wheelchair life together. Everything from fighting our way through doors and getting stuck in snow and on dilapidated sidewalks to traveling the prairies to dog shows together. When I hung my head ashamed because I couldn't get into a place, he said, "Fluff this," and walked proudly beside me. He dried a lot of tears and brought many smiles and a lot of laughter. He wasn't a well bred dog. He certainly wasn't the most athletic. He was very intelligent, though. His one flaw was he sometimes lacked confidence, the result of me being over careful as a new wheelchair user, but we regained much of that. He followed me everywhere and watched me lovingly. He breathed life into my soul that I didn't think I'd ever feel again. My life is infinitely better because of him and the lessons he taught me. Losing him is hard. Everything I've managed to learn, do, and achieve since losing the ability to walk was because of him. Literally everything. We came so far together, and I'm a much better, stronger person because of him. The one thing that makes this loss easier is knowing how loved he was. Not just by me, but by anyone who knew him. I'm still amazed and humbled by how many lives he touched. The best thing I ever did for him was really learn to read his body language. I could tell by the flick of his tongue when he needed a second to just check out our surroundings before proceeding. I knew by his ear positions if he was unimpressed by my actions. He'd do whatever I asked anyhow, but by really learning his language, I was able to adjust to his needs to make him as happy as possible. If there's one thing you can do to make your dog's life better, it's to learn how they communicate and respect them when they tell you they need a moment or a little space. Get to know their tail positions, their earset, how they breathe when they're problem solving or thinking, and understand the yawns, the lip licking, and their appeasement behaviors. It takes time, but it will make your relationship with your dog so much better. Last night was supernatural. I’m not sure I’ve seen a response at a public high school like this before. 125 students gave their life to Jesus!! Watch for yourself… I even heard testimonies of staff members from the school coming to the altar and weeping under the presence of God. Then I met a girl who had been sexually abused by a pastor and she told me that this was the first time she ever felt connected to Jesus and surrendered her heart to him. I’m telling you, these are the days of awakening!! God is saving our generation! PS: if you want this at your school send me a message. We are traveling to every state and every city to proclaim the gospel til every student has heard! 🔥

This valedictorian at Cardington-Lincoln High School in Ohio said a good part of his graduation speech was removed before the graduation ceremony and that he was interrupted after not staying on script during the ceremony. You can see the principal walk up and shove him away from the podium. 😳 The school district said it followed proper procedures for graduation speeches and tried to create a positive experience for all the graduates. The Class of 2026 valedictorian, Brandon Hughes, said the message he wanted to deliver was aimed at students who may not always feel seen or felt excluded. “My message originally was never intended to be about the school. It was never intended to be any personal insult,” Hughes said. “My heart when I wrote that speech was truly about the kids who feel less seen.” Hughes said school officials required him to remove portions of the speech he submitted for approval. Brandon said his grad speech was meant to give encouragement to his classmates and to let them know that their futures are not defined by their high school experience. Also, when he opened his graduation envelope there was no diploma inside. He received it after the ceremony. His mother said she could see the look in Brandon’s eyes when he realized there was no diploma and it broke her heart. I think it is commendable that Brandon wanted to let the students who may not have had a positive high school experience know that their high school years are just a blip on the radar screen and to not let it define them. 👏 Good for you Brandon! I don’t see anything wrong with the message you intended to give. And I think it would have given someone who didn’t have a great experience in high school some hope. 💯 Do you think the school was justified in cutting him off and pushing him aside from the podium since they were following their protocol? Or, do you think that he should have been able to give his full speech since he earned it with his hard work in becoming the Class valedictorian?

Is Election Commission of India or BJP trying to support minority TVK Vijay . A person is considered to be a Chief Minister only after: * Proving his party majority in the legislative assembly * He should be invited by the Governor for swearing in as a single majority party. * And protocols to provided only after swearing in on behalf of the honourable Governor of TN. Until that happens, it is considered to be a Governors Rule under Constitutional Article. The velumani (DGP) has no authority to assign Chief Minister-level convoy or protocol before a government is formally formed and before the Governor’s approval. TVK Vijay has not yet proven a majority in the Assembly and has not been officially announced as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. I Personally need Sandeep Rai Rathore IPS🇮🇳 to remember something you were promoted as DGP in DMK government and appointed as first ever Commissioner of Avadi. Then as Tamil Nadu Police something went gone under you which made a very bad impression against the government (Armstrong murder) so you were removed from COP for GREATER CHENNAI POLICE -GCP . I accept that you were in UPSC DGP Panel that doesn’t mean you were not recognised by DMK so your working out of nomes to TVK. Its not a duty and a decorum of a DGP amd especially of a HOPF of TN. If Sandeep Rai Rathore IPS🇮🇳 is so much affectionate with Vijay let him go and join as a Personal security to Him. As a tax payer i have the right to question how can my money be spent for CM security with him being acknowledged only to show the DGP wisdom can he do this is Amit Shah Sleeping. I urge गृहमंत्री कार्यालय, HMO India to look into this matter and take appropriate action if any rules or protocols have been violated.

Bogoljub Markovic Film + Notes 🧵 Best thing I saw: Loved his feel for the game. He was so good out of the short roll. Always knew where everyone on the floor was and made quick decisions with the ball. Biggest Concern: He was just throw around like a doll down low. When hedging screens he had such a hard time getting back to his man and being in good position to box out. Even when in good position, he still got thrown around pretty easily. Offense: - Extremely high IQ - Quick decision maker - his shot is super smooth / high release and quick trigger - Really solid feel when catching in the short roll / but hard to get him in good position on the roll bc of him not being big enough to hold guys behind him - great feel for spacing on and off ball - really solid ball handling for his size / had some good moments getting a rebound and pushing the ball up the floor - a lot better finishing through traffic than actually finishing through contact - not really going to be able to create his own shot at any point / it’s either catch and shoot or catch pump fake and drive or catch and finish Defense - Hard for him to get back in position when hedging screens because of the weight - ^ piggy backing off this, thought he had the foot speed and length to hang with guys on the perimeter (Mega Superbet just had really small guards so they had to run this drop to keep them out of bad switches) - is not a big that’s going to excel in drop coverage - wouldn’t classify him as a 5. He’s definitely a 4 - doesn’t offer much rim protection at all - doesn’t offer much help side defense - was bullied down low fighting for rebounds / even when in position he was easily pushed out the way
