The very first Notre Dame game I ever attended as a child, was against Michigan State. The first game that was played after 9/11 and that I attended was against Michigan State. There is a lot of history and personal memories for me with Michigan State. I agree. This should be a yearly game.

If the Big Ten played 10 games per team, 2 P4 non-conference, 2 G6 games, that would be in the best interest of all the rivalries and a good variance of non-conference play between major conferences.
