However, I found a paper called "FreeInit: Bridging Initialization Gap in Video Diffusion Models" that I'm going to try tomorrow to fix the drifting problem. The approach: 1. FFT both images (anchor frame + last frame) 2. Low-pass filter on anchor (structure/color/layout) 3. High-pass filter on last frame (details/edges/motion) 4. Combine and IFFT back

I'm proud to present this video created with Grok. Here are the main steps in the making of this video: 1. I wrote a draft script by hand. 2. I reworked the script with Grok to eliminate inconsistencies and add technical details (what I have them say about the Apollo missions and the stones is accurate). 3. Grok broke it down into scenes. 4. I switched to Grok Imagine's Agent mode: transforming each scene into a prompt. 5. I animated each scene in Agent mode using video, as well as cropping and image selection. 6. I edited it. Here's the result; it's hard to call it AI. I look forward to reading your comments. Massive news: I was commissioned by xAI to create a short film in 2 days using only Grok Imagine 1.0 (stills and video). So in honor of Groundhog Day, here it is: "Routine" a film about a man in a time loop in suburbia. Thank you so much to the xAI team and Elon Musk for this opportunity! If you're an AI video creator, you may notice that I've cracked character consistency in Grok Imagine with this project (check out the kitchen scene). I will do a follow up post explaining exactly how I did that (it was not just prompting).
