I appreciate that you’re trying new things. But this feature is SO intrusive and takes up so much UI space. I really wish I could turn this off. Same with calls inside DMs. I accidentally start a call every so often and it’s incredibly frustrating. Thanks for listening.

Isn't the "direct message" page supposed to be private, with only direct communication between the user and his contacts? Cramming that private page with unsolicited messages does not show much respect for your users.

I have a better idea: Restore people accounts disabled by mistake, hacked accounts, fix the impersonation issue. There are tons of TV station, musicians, artists in Europe not verified yet but we have you and your friends verified. Hypocrisy next level

Bring back chronological. I can assure you, more people in your comments are complaining about their reach being throttled by algorithms deciding who gets to see what.

pls stop putting message requests from strangers with my dms with friends. i dont want to see them and it makes it soooooo messsyy. not a good feature.

Have been waiting over a month to get assistance for my hacked account so now putting Instagram on notice. For each day my account is not returned you must pay the fees associated. I’ll be sending in paperwork shortly should it be ignored again!
