“I thought being a climate activist would atone for being white.” Ex-climate activist Lucy Biggers (Lucy Biggers) explains how newsroom culture, identity politics, and guilt-based ideology pulled her into believing she was inherently oppressive, and why she eventually rejected it. “This country is worth defending. Actually, I’m not racist.” Watch this clip before it disappears into the algorithm.

An Inconvenient Truth did more harm than good. It misrepresented the science, exaggerated the impacts of climate change, vilified CO2, and scared a generation of young people (myself included!).

Why did a global movement need a teenager as its messiah? Ex-climate activist Lucy Biggers reflects on the moment she realised something felt deeply off about the climate movement, from apocalyptic messaging in schools to turning Greta Thunberg into a global symbol before she was old enough to pay an energy bill. “This wasn’t seriousness. It was ideology.”

Fact: the climate disaster death rate has *declined* by 98% over the last century, even as carbon emissions have risen. The average person is 50X less likely to die of a climate-related cause than in 1920. Why? Fossil fuels. An inconvenient truth for the climate cult.

Don't be fooled by those calling for "climate realism." It’s nothing more than denial disguised as pragmatism. In reality, we not only have a moral obligation to solve the climate crisis, we have the tools we need to act now. Check out my latest TED Talks
