I was 5 years old with a single shot bolt action rifle

Brought up in a gun household, as long as i can remember never even crossed my mind to piss of the adults in the house to that extent. If your kids respect you they will listen.

That’s the most naive approach to teaching kids anything. No surprise that accidents with kids shooting themselves or other people happen with this type of thinking. The belief that you can teach your kid something and they’ll respect it 100% of times is very optimistic.

Unfortunately men like us are the minority. It’s exhausting living in a world of tolerant, pacifist wankers

My youngest is 7 and knows firearms safety 💯
