She’s lonely. Hope she makes some friends on the block.

We were in line at the grocery store yesterday and I noticed a woman a bit younger than me walk up to the bagger with a bottle of something and a receipt. He took the bottle then handed it back to her. When it was our turn to pay I asked him what that was about and he said she told him she had arthritis and couldn’t twist the top off would he do it. There’s good people everywhere.

I loved this! It reminded me of a time that I couldn’t open a pickle jar. I lived next door to a bar. I went in with my pickles and asked the first guy I saw if he could open it for me. Of course, he said sure and opened it. I said thank you and turned around and walked out. 🥒

I just love her determination to get it open. Definitely a "get it done" kind of gal. Love it!

You never know when it is you who may need the help someday!

We live for this kind of help, that man was helped more than this beautiful lady

I love this. I hope he checks on her.

I've only had that happen once...neighbor came to ask me for help in removing a dead squirrel from their backyard. Even her husband couldn't do it.....

When I got married, I spent some time in a program called Senior Services. The pay was low, but it was a big help to some of my neighbors. That's how I found out about it. I got calls for many things. One time it was a jar that needed opening. Now, 50 years later, I have a jar...

Sir yes sir that's the thing to do!

The instant respect of his elders. Someone hug this man’s parents! 💗

Independent pharmaceutical entrepreneurs, up at street corner, open jars for little old lady me. On my walks they are politely greeted. Also, they discourage teen hanging at corners.

I constantly ask out loud when opening all kinds of things "how in the fuck do old people open this shit"...

Acts of kindness rarely cost anything but develop friendship and store up treasures in Heaven!

I’ve been in her shoes… ❤️

I had a neighbor lady in her 90's that would get her freezer door jammed once a week . . . it was always that giant bottle of Grey Goose in the freezer. . .😆👍

♥️♥️♥️♥️

That's the way it should be. God bless him ❤️ neighbor helping neighbor

I hope he checks in on her every once in a while she’s just alone makes me sad ….He was such dude

❤️❤️

Southerners. We are such awesome people.

♥♥♥♥

God bless her!

❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍as it should be

❤️

that'll be me!

Good karma.

I always have a bit of a laugh when my neighbour (single mom, two kids) sends her daughter over to ask if I can open a jar for them. Of course I am always a little worried that I might not be able to open the specific jar she is holding at the time - scared of losing guy points

This just makes my DAY

I'm afraid this will be me one day. I have to get my husband to open everything now!

Be kind to one another. Our purpose for being here.

She seemed a little crotchety not very thankful. But I guess its a give away when youre that old. 😆
