The cyclist is to blame. Yes, the signboard created a visual obstacle. But that doesn’t mean one can cross a busy road just like that.

Exactly. When there's an obstacle that blocks the view,we need to slow down and observe. But in India who cares as the other guy had to look, not us.

These mfs were racing ???

The irony - the board displaying the emergency number 112, is most probably blocking the view of the other side of the highway for anyone approaching the gap riding/driving close to the median.

It created an emergency 😬

It aggravated the emergency - the cause is the cyclist's carelessness.

Everyone blaming bushes , signs , car , road. But no one is blaming the actual culprit on the bicycle. Does being dead / greviously injured absolve you from your crime ? ( yes it's a crime as it could have cost some innocent their lives) 🙏

The boy was Racing the MotoGP in his head.

Ppl blaming bushes, board etc etc.. What about the person on bicycle?? He is the main culprit but we all know blame will get shifted upon the car driver and he will pay for it for the rest of his life.

I fail to understand the obsession with bushes on dividers. They create a complete vision block. Nowhere in the world do we see such things on highways.

The car is no doubt in overspeed. But it was his right of way. The cyclist turned suddenly without stopping or even slowing down.

The cycle guy was very casual...as if driving in the park

These trees on u-turn are the most fucked up road engineering

So much belief in his cycle!

Stop and check doesn't know exist in this country. The cyclist should have stop and check before joining the main road.

If it is a highway, such medians are always dangerous. They should build underpasses or overpasses near villages. If not, then there must be speed breakers at such medians. No one looks at road signs or markings. As a defensive driver, I would have slowed down after seeing houses near the road. If the cyclist survives, he will repeat such mistakes in the future.

Irrespective of the emergency board, the kid should have slowed down, watched left and then should have taken that u turn.

No, it’s not the board that is blocking the view as many are telling here. It is blocking only for the cc camera view. The cyclist is down on the road. What’s blocking the view is the bush. It’s totally the cyclist fault. Car also could’ve been a bit slower.

who was the genius babu who installed this board ?

Thank God cctv saved the car owner...

Yes the board blocks the view. However the rule is the cyclist has to stop, check the oncoming traffic before turning right.

As per IRC guidelines, view at a crossing or U-turn/intersections must be unobstructed. So no hedges, no trees, no baricades, no obstructions should be on road dividers near crossings or U-Turn points

Some say the signboard is the issue. 🥴

Same as here. Smart driver

The cyclist learned a lesson, he would never forget

Change happens when Indians fear: - Strict law & order - Heavy, unavoidable penalties - Social shame for not caring others - Basic civilized standards The same Indian, skilled or unskilled magically transforms abroad precisely because these four fears suddenly become real.

Now I remain scary of other people doing mistakes Always slowing down at intersections

I hope the cycle is fine 👀

It looks like a child or a teen riding that bicycle. These villagers consider the highways as their personal space for drying clothes, resting in afternoon, letting their children learn bicycle and let their animals loose. Dehati villagers are nuisance.

We need to start from scratch ...teach kids and parents basic rules of road , civic sense and some common sense as well . Why was the cyclist there on the highway ,he didn't stop even for a sec before turning . I hope he is not hurt much.

Jo baap ne kiya, Wesa bete ne dekha Aur wesa hi bete ne kiya

Anyone blaming the car has clearly never been outside India. Classic WhatsApp University ..

True 💔 Please drive carefully at U-turns, especially on highways. Slow down and stay alert. Proper signboards are desperately needed at these dangerous spots to prevent more tragedies. Every life matters. Drive safe.🙌🙌

Indian Roads are nothing less than Final destination

Bro is playing GTA in real life but forgot he only has one life

It is the totally fault of the bicycle boy but now everyone will blame the car driver.
