Yeah, RE1R save room theme just slaps, but idk man I think OG RE2 and RE4 may have it beat

I agree it's very good, but it also has to be put into context. 1) You're hunted by monsters 2) This room is one the few safe zones 3) When you leave the room, you can die very quickly (there are several zombies outside of this specific room) I think this tune does a great job of conveying this. Your (could be) last safe pause before it's all over.

Resident Evil has had a lot of save room bangers, but this one from Dead aim is very underrated imo.

It’s 3am, you wake up mid slumber after barely getting to the save room. You have no more meds and you can’t save the game so you go back to sleep to this banger.

Low on health and ammo, zombies chasing, unsure where the next room will bring. The you finally find a save room, you can restock, have some sweet green herb and plan your next move, and the only calm song in the soundtrack. Such a unique feeling, fuck I love gaming.

@lecatndmich Generational BANGER, I'll never forget my first time hearing this. Just relaxing and recovering in a saferoom with that track playing. It's so good 😩
