What’s the best way to load into your back leg. When I threw 95, I tried to get as deep as possible and load into my back leg as much as I could. The way I got to 98 was by speeding up the drop and getting into my back leg as quickly as possible. As I’m training to throw a hundred miles an hour, I’m starting to think about it differently. Instead of dropping into my back leg and getting as deep as possible, I like to feel more of an impulse. I’m putting force into the ground and the ground pushes back and gives me a burst of energy toward the plate. Studies have shown that the guys with the best impulse from their back leg throw the hardest. That means putting the most force into the ground for the longest amount of time. When you see this, you get guys like Shane McLanahan, Misiorowski, and Strider who look like they’re almost jumping down the mound. They’re really just putting so much force into the ground that it propels them forward. The key for me is I don’t want to put force into the ground by tensing up. I don’t want it to feel like a single leg squat. It should feel more like a max effort jump. The quicker I go down, the higher I’m able to jump. That lets me take better advantage of the stretch shortening cycle and improve my impulse.

Driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone in my Cybertruck really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla’s engineering is. Tonight I tested every mode of the Tesla Off-Road Light Bar driving through the pure darkness of Yellowstone late at night in my Cybertruck. It really makes me appreciate how incredible Tesla engineering is. • Ditch Lights - The outer LEDs light up both sides of the road, making it much easier to spot wildlife, rocks, drop-offs, and the edges of the trail. • Flood Lights - The center LEDs shoot out an incredibly wide, powerful beam straight ahead, lighting up the road hundreds of yards into the distance. • Both - This is maximum visibility. The entire light bar comes alive, illuminating everything in front of you and on both sides with almost no dark spots. You can switch between each mode right from the touchscreen and even adjust the brightness to match the conditions. It’s one of those features you don’t fully appreciate until you’re driving through complete darkness. Just an FYI, these lights are designed for off-road use only. They’re incredibly bright and can blind other drivers, so they should never be used on public roads when other traffic is present.

The harsh reality of being sober: Is this the end of fun? I don’t think so. But it’s going to take me a while to figure out how to be sober in a party and festival world where I’ve spent most of my life getting after it. My sober break was just gonna be November. Then December. Then just until Friendship Cruise. But as it got closer, something shifted. I realized I didn’t need a break. I needed to actually heal. So now my goal is all of 2026 sober. For most of my adult life, I’ve used alcohol and substances to push the vibe, push myself, and push the party. I don’t think I’m an addict, but years of partying has messed with my memory and focus, and that scares me. This is the most important year of my life. I’m going to heal my mind, release more music than ever, show up online like I actually give a shit, build community in new ways, get strong and healthy, and be the best dad and husband I can be. It’s gonna be hard as fuck, but I know it’ll be worth it ✌️💗

man i’m so damn tired of getting packages stolen from my house i feel like i’m being held hostage if i ever have a delivery showing up since i can’t go anywhere that day; usually things disappear if they’re on my porch for more than an hour the most frustrating thing is the majority of them have been stolen by the same woman i chased her down the second time, grabbed my package back, and told her if she ever came on my property again i would call the cops this is now at least the 8th time. i was supposed to leave for a beach trip this morning but a delivery of some expensive stuff (one of them was a $650 cintiq tablet) was supposed to be delivered by 2pm so i waited… and it never came. waited until 3:30pm, still nothing, so i had to leave. got delivered at 4:30pm. and like magic, here she is again. she even stole my medicine one time. we’re up to like $4000 worth of stuff at this point. and last time, Raleigh Police didn’t do anything about it despite the detective i talked to saying they “definitely know who she is”

Less than two weeks to go until polling day for the local and EU elections. I’m sure you have noticed that in every interview I do, I get attacked. The reason is that, just like in the referendum, the establishment doesn’t want anyone who might expose them in Europe getting elected. I will highlight issues such as immigration, housing, healthcare, the cost of living, how the Green Deal is disproportionately affecting the average earner, how farmers are being treated, and much more. I’ve been speaking out and not caring what politicians think about my views for 30 years. Let’s do what we did in the referendum and show the establishment that democracy works. thank you for sharing every wonwoo’s four seasons with us 🥹 🐈‍⬛ it was so cold that i didn't get that many photos but i did my best and it'd make me happy if i can share them with you. spring, summer, fall, and winter - going out to take photos during all four seasons made taking photos more fun. being able to share this experience with carats and the thought of getting to show you these photos made me feel so excited and happy. if i get the chance to, i’ll return with more photo content in the future so please be healthy until then and i hope you'll always be happy. i hope you like the photos. i'II be back with other content!

I vividly remember planning my Thailand trip this time last year Just dropped out of my 1st year in uni Didn’t want to pursue a gap year or apprenticeship The coaching business I was building for 1-2 years flopped So had no choice but to move back in with parents One of the most down bad times of my life because I genuinely didn’t know what to do after all this I scrolled through Twitter one day and saw one of Jack Hartley’s tweets Complete paradigm shift “Ain’t no way you can rent a 2 bed villa with a pool for that much?? - I was paying the same for rent for my old uni dorm” From then on the goal was obvious TIME TO GET THE FUCK OUT “Thailand by March 2023” etched into my brain (I’m Asian too so my soul too) Over those next 6 months all I did was stack as much commission through appt setting Post content Seek mentors/guidance (like Ed) Sort logistics Etc. It slowly started falling into place Paid the deposit on our villa in Koh Samui, booked my flight and found a group of G’s to move in with (All thanks to the internet) And you know the best part? I didn’t say a WORD about ANY of this to my family NOTHING Because your words don’t mean a fucking thing to whoever you’re trying to convince until they see it’s real Results > everything Anyways Exactly a month before I left, I finally broke the news to my parents They were skeptical at first and asking me all these questions but it slowly came to their realisation that this was indeed for real Planned meticulously for the last 6 months Every question? Answered to a T The whole dynamic then began to change I became more grateful There was more respect We spent more time together and had farewell celebrations As much as I love them and my friends back home It was a sign from the Universe to reach for greater heights Then on the morning of my flight I said goodbye to my mum, hopped on the plane and life’s changed ever since We’re only just getting started

One of my favorite parts of rolling in the gi is passing while they still have grips. I’m comfortable standing in front of them because I’m ready to brace and make their sweeps miss. Instead of breaking grips, I try to unclip their frames and deny their feet from getting to my hips and arms. They can’t hang well without both griping and framing. To get ahead, make grips on their pant legs and start playing a mini game I call up, down, left, right. Each hand works independently, probing for a direction to push or pull their leg that makes their frames less useful. You still have to be ready to overfit and underfit submission attacks, especially when your stance gets staggered. Getting staggered is okay, and sometimes unavoidable. Don’t panic. Accept where you are and be ready for the next part of the exchange. If they upgrade their grip, like getting to a lasso, you have to unwind it or drive pressure into it so the grip becomes uncomfortable. Make it cost more energy than it’s worth. When you move this way, natural passing routes open up without having to map everything out ahead of time. Try passing without breaking grips. You might be missing one of the most fun parts of rolling in the gi. Learn Jiu Jitsu
