I'd love to rent a deserted island and live a wild life together like on “The Law of the Jungle.” 🐹 I hope everyone would find it fun. Others say it's tough, but I find it fun. 🐹 We could fish, hunt, pick coconuts, and build a shelter. I sometimes think it would be really fun to do that for a couple of days. 🐹 But I guess many people wouldn't like it. That's just a dream of mine. 💬 What would you like to be in charge of in the jungle? 🐹 I'd just like to watch from above. I've done it a lot of those jungle survival before so I'm curious how other people will adapt. 🐹 It's not that I don't want to do it. I actually enjoy it. For Machiavelli, the ideal ruthless political operator is Moses. Above Caesar, above Alexander, above Cesare Borgia… it is Moses that Machiavelli holds up as the model of how to enter into evil. How can this be anything but blasphemy? When we think of Moses we think: good, honest, humble, compassionate. When we think of Machiavelli we think: evil, deceptive, prideful, violent. How can Moses be Machiavelli's model of entering into evil when he is literally the lawgiver who established the Ten Commandments? Machiavelli responds, look at how he established those commandments: “since he wished his laws and his orders to go forward, Moses was forced to kill infinite men who, moved by nothing other than envy, were opposed to his plans.” If you read the Bible closely, you will see Moses massacre, deceive, genocide… all for the greater good. This is why he was Machiavelli’s favorite leader: someone who was willing to do what was necessary to achieve the most noble goals. Machiavelli highlights Moses to teach the few and not the many. He wrote his books to teach those “rare and marvellous men” that come once every few hundred years how to achieve the grandest political projects: the founding of states, civilizations, and even religions. Things like what you say at the concerts or the fan chants, I do understand that as well, because we haven't spoken about it clearly until now. I understand it, but seeing Engines fighting each other because of things like that doesn't look good. To be honest, it also disrupts the performances a lot. Yes, really, honestly. Since I've spoken about it clearly today, I think those who truly like ENHYPEN and support us will know how to act moving forward. Yes. Ah, I'll just say this completely clearly. Because if I speak vaguely again, it might not work. From now on, saying things like 'ENHYPEN is 7' is basically telling Engenes to fight among themselves. Yes. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 In 1921, thirty elected councillors walked calmly into a prison. They chose to be there. They did it to protect the poorest people in Britain. Do you know their names? Poplar. East London. One of the poorest boroughs in the country. 🏚️ High unemployment. Hunger. And a tax system designed to make it worse. Poor boroughs like Poplar had to collect taxes not just for themselves but for London-wide authorities, the Metropolitan Police, the Asylums Board, the Water Board. ⚖️ The rich boroughs paid a low rate. Poplar paid a high rate. And got nothing back. In March 1921, the Labour council, led by former mayor George Lansbury, decided to stop collecting those taxes. They'd use the money to feed the poor instead. 🥣 The High Court ordered them to pay. They refused. On the 29th of July, thirty councillors marched through the streets of Poplar with 2,000 supporters, led by the official mace-bearer, to the sound of a brass band. 🎺 Their banner read: "Poplar Borough Council, marching to the High Court and possibly to prison." They weren't possibly going to prison. They were going to prison. ⛓️ Thirty councillors. Twenty-five men to Brixton. Five women to Holloway. One of them was pregnant. One of the women was Minnie Lansbury. She was 32. She developed pneumonia in prison. She died two months after her release. She was still 32. They held council meetings inside the prison. The women were brought from Holloway to Brixton by taxi. George Lansbury addressed thousands of supporters from his cell window. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 After six weeks, the court ordered their release. Parliament rushed through a new law. The tax burden between rich and poor boroughs was equalised. Thirty ordinary people went to prison. And changed the law. 🇬🇧 Did they teach you their names? Thirty people went to prison so that others would be treated fairly. Nobody remembered them. Every time you support this channel, more of them survive. Be Part Of Us. Be Proud Of Us. 🇬🇧

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 In 1921, thirty elected councillors walked calmly into a prison. They chose to be there. They did it to protect the poorest people in Britain. Do you know their names? Poplar. East London. One of the poorest boroughs in the country. 🏚️ High unemployment. Hunger. And a tax system designed to make it worse. Poor boroughs like Poplar had to collect taxes not just for themselves but for London-wide authorities, the Metropolitan Police, the Asylums Board, the Water Board. ⚖️ The rich boroughs paid a low rate. Poplar paid a high rate. And got nothing back. In March 1921, the Labour council, led by former mayor George Lansbury, decided to stop collecting those taxes. They'd use the money to feed the poor instead. 🥣 The High Court ordered them to pay. They refused. On the 29th of July, thirty councillors marched through the streets of Poplar with 2,000 supporters, led by the official mace-bearer, to the sound of a brass band. 🎺 Their banner read: "Poplar Borough Council, marching to the High Court and possibly to prison." They weren't possibly going to prison. They were going to prison. ⛓️ Thirty councillors. Twenty-five men to Brixton. Five women to Holloway. One of them was pregnant. One of the women was Minnie Lansbury. She was 32. She developed pneumonia in prison. She died two months after her release. She was still 32. They held council meetings inside the prison. The women were brought from Holloway to Brixton by taxi. George Lansbury addressed thousands of supporters from his cell window. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 After six weeks, the court ordered their release. Parliament rushed through a new law. The tax burden between rich and poor boroughs was equalised. Thirty ordinary people went to prison. And changed the law. 🇬🇧 Did they teach you their names? 🐨 When it comes to marriage, people feel rushed and pressured. There are realistic parts too. Especially for women, it seems like society and the media keep putting pressure on them. On all of us, really. I just wish people could live in their own way There’s no right answer. But I think, if someone can’t stand being alone, would getting married really make that better? Because even when you’re married, there are times you want to be alone too. People are contradictory like that So I think someone who can be okay on their own can probably do well when they’re with someone too. And the same goes the other way around. If you get married just because you’re lonely, as a way to solve or escape it, that’s a bit questionable As for kids, I don’t really know either. Even raising myself feels like a handful. And children, well, they don’t turn out the way you want them to. When I think about how much I made my parents worry when I was young. If I had a kid like me? Oh man, how exasperating would that be. Sure, they might be adorable too, but still There’s no single answer. People who are married can only speak from that side, and those who aren’t can only speak from theirs. It’s something the two sides can’t really know about each other. So we should take other people’s stories as just that—their own In a way, I think those of us born in the 1990s are the 1st generation in Korea for whom marriage became an option.
