Here's the problem: Drake fans typically don't believe in having any type of pride in growing up or living in places like that. Those bars do not hit the same to them. Hip-hop is just rap to them.

Love this record but Make Them Remember is WAY BETTER than this lyrically. Ain’t one bar on here better than the double play bar or the Windsor knot bar. This ain’t better than Make Them Pay either.

That Windsor knot bar has been used plenty times before and better btw also not saying that song is even bad I think it’s one of the better songs on iceman but it’s the same monotone flow and victim and gaslighting bars.

A lot of punchlines get recycled and used in different ways. It still hit. So we flow shaming now? HOV uses the same flow ALOT when he’s rapping! I disagree with the victim shit. Drake has always rapped in these styles & angles but it’s only victim raps now cause it’s trendy.

The flow is fine in the song. When Drake uses this flow he’s at his best. Also what bar on Where I’m From is better than that 23 & me bar? It’s several schemes & punchlines all the way through MTR. Where I’m From just can’t compete bruh.
