My mum texts me when I stand up to speak in Parliament. She tells me to fix my tie or sort my hair out. A mum’s job is never done! And when I talk about growing up in poverty, she says sorry. Like so many others, my mum lives with guilt, but the fault lies with the politics that failed us. That’s why I speak up: things can be better. I grew up with little, and I want every child in Bournemouth to grow up happy and get on in life.

It was a shorts where V hyungnim was talking about stories he had in the training camp. He was talking about going to the church and so on and since I was part of the group that was right beside him during those times. So I thought I can share some interesting stories and some heartwarming stories about V hyungnim and good things about him via videos. It’s been a little over a year since I got discharged from the military, but I thought maybe now would be a fun time to start talking about these training camp stories. From how I first met V hyung at the training camp, and I have even received gifts from him! There are stories like that too. To share one more heartwarming thing about V hyungnim, there was even a KakaoTalk chat where he invited us into it and said things like, “You guys worked hard,” and even sent us Korean beef as a gift.
