It was cheaper when the public didn’t have access due to demand for a specific vehicle being higher I’m sure. Public Model Y was more expensive at the time because the public also has access so there was more demand that a few influencers taking rides when they very clearly prepared MANY cybercabs. Now the public has access and don’t want to ride in a Model Y and would rather ride in a cybercab and there are less cybercabs.

@wholemars flagged that the demand shot up to 1h+ wait time after the service opened to the public I suspect dynamic pricing kicked in to adapt to that Indicator we need more cybercabs on the network ASAP
