Michigan House Republicans took a hatchet to programs for moms and babies, kids with cancer, child survivors of sexual assault, schools, first responders, veterans, and more - leaving organizations panicked and scrambling. They did it with no notice, and with no input, and no regard for the impact. When I asked organization leaders if House Republicans had contacted them at all before the cuts, every single one said no.
