Ichigo was activating his Bankai while already in his Horn of Salvation (half-Hollowfied) state to transform into Blood Chains, just like before. The only reason we didn't see the full form this time is because Yhwach used The Almighty to snap his blade and break his horn before he could ever complete the transformation just like in the manga

Did 45 actually happen or was it an alternate future? It seems people are confused about this. The way Ichigo turns around, and how Orihime is floating there while Yhwach reveals himself, and the gang remembers, alludes to 45 actually happening. Then, Yhwach overwrites his death with the almighty and or the final moment with Orihime. Resulting in her also being brought back. What do we think? The negative effect on Ichigos face could simply mean the Almighty was being used, same as it's shown in the Ichibei fight. It doesn't mean that reality didn't happen.

Explaining this bc Ive seen confusion on TL. The majority of Aizen vs Yhwach is an illusion. The point was Aizen distracts Yhwach so Ichigo can sneak him and the real Aizen was disguised as Ichigo while the one using Hado 99 is prolly an illusion or using Ichigo riatsu to power it which is why its not purple like his normal riatsu is and it dissappears so easily Also note the OST stops as soon as Aizen reveals its him
