Notice the word play when she speaks about Alyssa Thomas who committed the transgression , vs what she says about Caitlin Clark, who was the victim here. Imo, a disgusting attempt at manipulation “Alyssa plays on the edge I know her. & Caitlin sometimes embellishes” Chiney Ogwumike

A Phoenix Mercury fan with an Alyssa Thomas jersey said, “White men don’t speak!” when I went to ask her about the Alyssa Thomas & Caitlin Clark situation. (Wish I was rolling when it happened…) 100% racism & fitting for a Thomas fan.

You wanna know why Alyssa Thomas popped Caitlin Clark tonight? I’ll show you. Caitlin Clark is an AWFUL person. These teams met a couple of days ago. A foul was called. Caitlin disagreed with the call. Alyssa was shooting free throws. She missed the first free throw. Caitlin obnoxiously stood up from her seat clapping and taunting Alyssa. Caitlin then sat down and called Alyssa a b#%#h. Alyssa Thomas is widely respected as one of the toughest players in the entire WNBA. This video 👇🏾👇🏾 of Caitlin calling Alyssa that derogatory went viral. Alyssa, like the rest of the world, saw this video. Caitlin Clark was GUARANTEED to get popped tonight at the FIRST opportunity. No questions asked. Don’t talk to me about race, sexual orientations, or jealousy. You can be a disrespectful JERK, or you can be a victim, but you CAN’T be BOTH.

After Alyssa Thomas fist 2 Caitlin Clark’s throat , I decided to do research. I found this play after many mentioned it . How is this her first time getting suspended ? Chiney , any comment? Is this her “playing on the edge?” Is Candace Parker embellishing also? Chiney Ogwumike

The Arizona Diamondbacks invited Alyssa Thomas, who punched Caitlin Clark in the throat to throw out the first pitch tonight… She’s being treated like a hero.

Caitlin Clark is harassed for three years by fans, media, players, and assaulted by other players and the WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said nothing. Alyssa Thomas plays victim after punching Caitlin Clark in the neck and Cathy defends her. Bring Cathy Engelbert before Congress to testify about Caitlin Clark’s Civil Rights being violated. Senator Mike Lee is tagged so let him know you want to see an investigation. Cathy Engelbert Mike Lee

WNBA Issues One-Game Suspension to Alyssa Thomas After Incident With Caitlin Clark — (Video: AI) On June 25 the league announced: “Upon postgame review, the Phoenix Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas has received a Flagrant Foul 2 penalty and a one-game suspension for recklessly making contact with her fist to the throat area of Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark…” Thomas will sit out when the Mercury visit the Toronto Tempo on June 27. Many fans and analysts are calling the punishment way too lenient. What’s your take on the WNBA’s decision here — fair call or should it have been stronger? (Video: AI)

This league is so funny sometimes. Caitlin Clark is fouled by Kahleah Copper & stops the miss from hitting her in the back of the head. Copper doesn't see what she was doing & has a few words for her. She then finds out what actually happened & apologizes to Clark 😂

Funny story. This is what makes me laugh about Caitlin Clark. For several games, she was getting TORCHED every night…….because she was lazy. Her fans turned her into a victim because…well…..she ALWAYS has to be the victim. They blamed Stephanie White! Why are you letting them kill Kenny???!! DO something! They blamed her teammates. Don’t just STAND there! HELP poor victim Caty! The fact of the matter was that victim Caitlin was being flat out lazy and giving up 20-25 points each night. ————————————————— Last night, victim Caitlin decided to stop being LAZY. She decided to actually do her JOB. Stephanie did not do ANYthing different. Her teammates did not do ANYthing different. Victim Caitlin stopped being LAZY Then after she made a defensive stop against a Point Guard who was extremely limited offensively, she was RIGHT BACK to TAUNTING and TALKING TRASH!! Such obnoxious behavior! Stephanie White is a GREAT DEFENSIVE COACH now……because victim Caitlin stopped being LAZY, and costing her team GAMES on defense!

SPORTSBALL: Caitlin Clark got thrown down & took a fist to the neck last night, with Alyssa Thomas pressing her full weight through it. The drive-by media calls it "physical play." The league looks away. How violent does it have to get before the WNBA intervenes?

What on earth?? A’ja Wilson not content with simply attacking fans, decides to elbow Caitlin Clark to the ground— so they foul Caitlin Clark out of the game! A’ja taunted her after the play, which should’ve been her second tech. Caitlin Clark was given a tech for waving lol

🤯 Same ref has a long history of biased calls against Caitlin Clark! Watch how she looks at her after this bogus call 👀 The players know it — so they take liberties flopping & assaulting Caitlin Clark all game long. Gerda Gatling is jealous of Caitlin Clark 🤡

Stephanie White tweaking’ on the sideline again. Notice that the moment Caitlin Clark gets hot, she pulls her from the game. She won’t fight for her, and she’s using a minutes restriction to keep her averages down.

Referee Angelica Suffren’s missed call on Alyssa Thomas vs Caitlin Clark demands accountability — (Video: AI) In the Fever-Mercury matchup, veteran official Angelica Suffren (#7) had a clear view of Alyssa Thomas driving her fist into Caitlin Clark’s neck/throat area during a loose-ball scramble. No whistle. Play continued. Clark later exited with a back injury. The WNBA reviewed it post-game and issued Thomas a Flagrant Foul 2 + suspension — proving the contact warranted a call in real time. Officials at this level must get these plays right. Missing flagrant-level fouls in high-stakes games undermines fairness, fan trust, and player safety. Consistent accountability for the crew (starting with the crew chief) is essential as the league grows. The WNBA needs to address officiating standards — no more excuses. How do you think they should reprimand referee Angelica Suffren?
