🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇬🇧 Oxfordshire County Council leader Tim Bearder talks about our national flags like they’re a hate symbol that’s offensive to fly in public. “It does have a divisive and intimidatory role. Some people are clearly using it to tell people to go home or this is England. Whatever message they’re trying to send, it’s not appropriate for a neutral space.” I strongly disagree. It is perfectly appropriate to fly an England flag in public. It is not divisive or intimidating to most people. If you are offended by the national flag, that is on you. Deal with it. And what is actually wrong with putting up a flag that says “this is England”? That is not intimidation. That is a statement of fact. This is England. This is Britain. A country should be allowed to look like itself in its own streets without a council leader treating that as a problem. These arguments are weak and pathetic. They are exactly what you get from a political class that would rather pander than stand up for the most basic expression of national identity. Be proud of our national flag. Be proud to fly it. Be proud to celebrate it. This is England. This is Britain. Be proud of who we are.

Here we go — banging up another flag at work 🇦🇺 Nothing feels better than this, honestly. Every time I see the flag, I feel that energy — a reminder of how great our nation is. It makes me optimistic about the future for my children and the country they’re growing up in. Everywhere I go, I’m seeing more and more flags on homes. People message me asking, “Was it you? Was it the Sons putting flags up all around the city — even around the country?” The truth is, it’s not just us. There are people everywhere banging up flags — on gum trees, power poles, bridges. In the suburbs, families are proudly hanging the flag on their homes. And in workplaces too — I’m seeing more businesses flying the Aussie flag. If there’s no flag at your work, take one in. Ask the boss. Hang it up. Bring that energy into your workplace and your community wherever you can. And if you want to be part of a men’s group — a bunch of mates who are proud of the flag — that’s what we do. We go for a proper feed, we have a yarn, and we bang up Aussie flags 🇦🇺 If you love this nation and you’re looking for good blokes to stand alongside, you’re welcome. Get amongst it.
