Sadly, so very true. Chased an appointment having waited 3 months. Said they hadn't had my referral! I replied you rang me two weeks ago to offer me a cancellation. But God help you if you challenge them.

What a load of BOLLOCKS! Maybe in Metropolitan areas, but outside of these, i have always found the service in the NHS very good! Don't blame the NHS, blame Labour and the Tories for overburdening it with patients who have no right to use it!!!

Parkshot medical in Richmond used to be an amazing family surgery . You now can’t speak to anyone even when you are told to book an appointment. NHS app is a failure and one step closer to wanting your digital ID . Really sometimes I think dying is less painful

Phoned my surgery on Monday at 8am for an appt Sorry, only take bookings on Friday afternoons ! Was working Friday afternoon so now have to wait until next Friday when I will be told I cannot have an appt for 3 weeks !

NHS nurse told me "You'll be like this for the rest of your life!" That wasn't true, but I did have to wait 18 agonizing and frustrating months for my operation.

I think the method is to keep you hanging on the phone so long trying to make an appointment that whatever ailed you cured itself in the meantime (or you died of it) ... so either way it's a win-win (for them)

That's my exact experience of the NHS, wish I could laugh.

I found out why my gp surgery refused to do blood tests if they're not requested by own doctors they get charged between £60>£100 per test. and this clip is so close to the truth
