Being a magician this day in age is genuinely such a flex of course it’s all illusions + sleight of hand but I’m literally watching this shit frame by frame like a challenged NFL play and I can’t physically see how he did it

This is going to sound weird but look at the size and shape of the first bird. He has trained the 2nd bird to sit on top of the first and separates them at a certain point as evidenced by the two tail feathers as per photo2. Still very well done and amazing training.

You can see the line of his blue part of his shirt part as he pulls the second dove out with his right hand. He’s fiddling with his right hand with his shirt in the beginning of the video and uses the first bird to obscure the movement. So when he’s raising his arms, there’s two birds.
